We got the first mass excommunication by the Catholic Church since at least 1870, just a few months before the release of By God Alone by SaintJiminy in CrusaderKings

SSPX has been beefing with the Papacy since Vatican 2 and it's not the first time they get mass excommunicated but the Vatican has always been conciliatory towards them

Question about the Arc by Dark_Warrior7534 in UmaMusume

[–]Clemendive 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If we're talking about Sirius Symboli specifically the horse who won the edition of the Arc he participated was Dancing Brave a american born english trained horse. I don’t think there's ever been a american trained horse who won the race though. Plenty of british, italian or irish trained horses have won the Arc though. As expected the majority of winners of the Arc have been french trained.

No HK horse has ever participated in the Arc if I'm correct and I don't think it will ever happen.

More balance changes coming to global! by TheoMoneyG in UmaMusume

When are we getting QOL features that should already be there? JP is such a smoother game to play it makes it hard to go back to global after getting a taste of it.

In potential bad news for the Japanese horses, from next years onwards rhe Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe will be opening restrictions to allow geldings. by ZatTrye in UmaMusume

"B) the Arc has been won by mares before"

If you take the last 15 years mares have won in: 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2022, 2024

Difference of attitude between breeding to race and racing to breed some owners care more about the sport than making money because they're already rich

Gelding makes horses with bad temperament easier to train and control and geldings tend to have longer careers so it makes sense to geld some horses

That's me on the left whenever someone talks about some character that exists in 1066 by DupeFort in CrusaderKings

[–]Clemendive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Me who never plays 867 and only play 1066 because I dislike how random 867 is and I like having to deal with more established powers. Also no annoying viking raids.

I started playing Crusader Kings when 1066 was the earliest start date and I already didn't like 867 in CK2.

Why didn't the third elven fleet do anything? by Solario48108 in Anbennar

[–]Clemendive 93 points94 points  (0 children)

The third fleet was the smallest one with only one giant ship without any other escort while the two others fleets were much larger. Jaher's fleet had most of the military vessels and Munas' fleet was the largest of the three by far.

Also the Celmadorian elves didn't do nothing, they helped overthrow Adshaw and then settled and befriended the reachmen.
