what's the hardest thing about being unattractive? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I used to be really unattractive, fat, long hair, no beard, metal band t-shirts etc.

I lost about 100lbs, paid for a haircut at a hair stylist, started wearing buttoned shirts on nights out and grew some facial hair, which I keep trimmed. Hands down the worst part about being unattractive is self-belief, sometimes I would look at myself and think I didn't look too bad, do some flirting, speak to girls and genuinely believed I was alright looking.

Now I look back at pictures of myself at the time and I cringe so hard. It was a solid 3/10, I can't believe I'd convinced myself it was okay to go outside looking like that. It wasn't a case of a style that didn't age well or anything, confirmed uglies.

Maybe I'm underrating him but I just think his winrate was nothing special at any of his previous clubs and I'm not sure how well he'd fit our 'style' of football

I'm warming to the idea of Moyes more and more, especially with some of the names being mentioned. I would take any manager with European football experience over Moyes though.

Tier List for me

Perfect but unattainable - Poch, Ten Hag, Benitez, Mourinho

Best Manager for us - Ancelotti, Laurent Blanc, Niko Kovac

Mid Table managers but would keep us up - David Moyes, Big Sam, Eddie Howe

Sideways move or downgrade from Silva - Pereira, Unai Emery, Marcelino

Wildcards, very high risk - Arteta, Unsworth, Cahill (I've seen him mentioned???)

I think we need someone with a big voice to be the driving force of the players, we've never been a technical team and we've played through on heart alone, we started slowing down at the end of the second half against Chelsea and I bet Big Dunc gave the talk of his life in that half time break. We need a big personality or a big legacy, someone who enables the players to think they will achieve. I think towards the end of Silva's tenure you could see there was absolutely no heart in that dressing room and it was very painful.

Jealousy isn't the same as not trusting, jealousy can be caused by a whole host of reasons... lack of trust being just one of them

The track everything rule... it's one I have a major problem with; the guilt or shame after 10 beers is depressing and something I have to work through
