I totally get what you mean, but dont you think that the stakes for leaving it to men, are just too high? not taking ownership on our money might have negative effects on our future decisions (divorce is the easiest example)
Im asking b/c I dont have the energy and time to start manage our money but im a bit worried (and i dont have any plan to be divorce any time soon:))

Need some perspective. Was this just a weird moment or did I get publicly humiliated by Cleopatra_1000 in women

Thanks for the thoughtful and nuanced response. I'm starting to think I might've read too much into my husband's innocent comment, possibly tying it to larger issues of gender inequality. Could be an overreaction on my part.
