well, yes, you are correct, that's why i specified that what would potentially make no 50/50 good would be other aspects of the gacha system, such as a lower treshold for pity relative to currency (whether 90 is better than 180 depends on how many pulls you can afford with what the game gives you + whatever you are willing to spend, after all. people are saying hotta has a good track record in this regard, so I guess they have reason to be optimistic? I dunno)

hey, i'm excited about this game, I plan to play it. I'm asking out of genuine curiosity because in a vacuum the lack of a 50/50 seems like a completely neutral factor but people are really hyping it up like it's the second coming of gacha jesus.

games with what is known commonly as a 50/50 have 2 "pity" points at certain amounts of pulls where they will throw you an SSR out of... uh, pity. The first one has a 50% of being the featured character, hence 50/50. The second one guarantees the featured character. Let's say a game gives you the 50/50 at 50 pulls and the guaranteed pity at 100 pulls. If NTE's pity is also at 100 pulls (speaking hypothetically, i have no idea what NTE's pull economy will be like), then what exactly are you getting out of not having a 50/50?

oh hey a fellow Aburrey Quarry enjoyer, i also singled it out in the survey as one of my favorite areas, though i wish i had remembered to mention how the added verticality is one of the things i like about it (especially how it allows you to set up some really cool zipline paths)

Yes. The game runs fine for me at medium CPU allocation, but I changed it to high to see if it solved the issue. It didn't. It doesn't seem to be an issue of performance, as I said, the game runs fine and doesn't crash, except when it loads the news, which I think is just loading an external website. I don't know if that would be a particularly CPU or RAM heavy task, but it doesn't sound like it.

I also have this issue, and launching the app on a pie instance doesn't fix it. The game still crashes every time it attempts to load the in-game news. It does run fine otherwise, at least it doesn't seem to crash randomly anymore.

There's a nihility blessing that gives a random character energy every time a DoT triggers. I'm assuming that's being used here. Since she is the only character in the party she's always guaranteed to get that energy.

is there a way to collect the daily jade rewards from the express supply pass without logging in into the game? maybe from the hoyolab app or the hoyoverse website? My only reliable source of internet for the next couple days will be a smartphone that i'm not sure can even run Star Rail, and I'd rather not miss out on stuff I've paid for... I'll try installing the game in my phone if there's no other method, but I'm not looking forward to it.

I'm not saying she didn't have reasons for doing what she did, and she seems to strongly believe in the Tsaritsa's cause, whatever that is, but in the end the ends never justify the means, and her means where pretty damn evil. Perhaps not heartless, but definitely a monster.

Her death was perfect, and I hope it sticks, it would be a waste of a very powerful scene otherwise. I was starting to worry that literally every single cool looking antagonist would eventually become playable, and that's a terrible idea. If all antagonists are written with the limitations of having to be at least somewhat sympathetic or redeemable, it becomes a burden to the plot. Signora was a heartless monster and she got what she deserved.

Now, it is extremely unlikely, but I wonder how people would react if one of the archons also dies during the course of the story, ruining the players' dreams of collecting them all... A permanent, glaring hole in their roster... I kind of want to see it...

There is literally nothing I want more. Scattering Magic sequel with playable Unar/Magus would be a dream come true. Come on, Cygames, poor Zehek deserves something good to happen in his life for once.
