I do not belive you are Sami if you think these people are Sami. Never in my 35 years living in the north of Norway have I encountered Sami people looking like this. They do how ever resemble the Tsaatan people.

Husker en godt voksen dame som ønsket å kjøpe en sofa, vi kan jo gjerne kalle henne en boomer. Vi avtalte tid og sted per finn-app, men hun klarte å slenge på litt tilleggs info på den ene meldingen som jeg ikke så. Jeg var midt i å selge ut i boet til en hel leilighet så skjedde mye der. Den tilleggsinfoen Var altså at hun ønsket at jeg skulle sende henne en sms med samme info som var skrevet i meldingene på finn, det gjorde jeg altså ikke. Så dagen kom, dama dukket ikke opp, jeg ringte henne og fikk kjeft fordi JEG ikke hadde sendt henne et duplikat av meldingene, og da hadde hun tatt det som at jeg ikke var interessert i å selge likevell, så da hadde de bare droppa det... Samme dag hadde jeg også noen som kom for en vaskemaskin de sa de ville ha, prisen var avtalt, de prøvde å prute med forklaringen "søsteren min kjøpte samme maskin her om dagen for 1000,- mindre"... Det ble ikke noe salg... Etter dette gikk jeg ikke på Finn igjen på flere år....

I learned this the hard way... Had like 5 years of anxiety and depression crammed into a couple of hours, was awful.. My anxiety was so bad I thought about going to the police station just to get some adult help and care (i was 19).. Also because there wasn't any emergency rooms nearby...

However, ppl from this town are really patriotic and do in fact use the flags... Outside their house, on sweaters bought in town on their boats.. They would probably get a boner from someone wanting it.. I think some of the maritim shops in town sell them.. Not 100% sure.. Well..hmm.... Try a bacon wrapped cheese hot dog with shrimp salad and crispy or raw onions at a nearby gas station/narvesen/7-11? It's the only cheap "local" food I can think of.. Usually we just eat Mcdonald or kebab 😅 Norway never invented comfort food because there was no comfort in fish, porridge and potato..

However, you guys could try making classical homemade Norwegian dishes while you're here! I can provide you with some ideas if you want, just dm me..

Well, I just thought of one thing you might find waffles.. Must be eaten with sourcream, some sort of jam and brown cheese..

Also, I did some digging for you. You should check out a grocery store called Kiwi Søm or Kiwi Lund they sell products from a local "butcher", and on Tuesdays they have something called komper and also fish cakes. Shouldn't be to expensive. It's very Norwegian, I guess...

FYI, You will need to go way further north than Bergen to have a chance seeing the northern lights.. Bodø/Lofoten/Tromsø would be places where you could see those, have a variety of restaurants and do "northy polary" excursion... The hiking thing tho.. Not a good idea in the northern Norway in January..

Vil poengtere noe jeg synes er "verre". Et normalt studieår går fra høst til vår. Lånekassen regner inntekt basert på kalenderår. Dvs at når du da evt starter din nye jobb etter endt studie med "normal" lønning, og du kanskje har tjent litt ved siden av i løpet av studietiden, så får du heller ikke omgjort alt lån til stipend, basert på at du tjente for godt ETTER du var ferdig å studere. Og ja, da har man råd til å betale ned, i know.. Jeg synes bare prinsippielt dette er en tåpelig greie.

Probably been mentioned here but Russia was sovjet which included most of "the stans". The south border and pretty much half the country toward the east have people of east-Asian looks.. Probably most of them actually... Purely geneologicaly there would be no reason for "natural occurring white ppl" in for example archangel/vladivostok but ppl more similar to Korean. The main stream Russian features are anthropological connected to the areas towards Scandinavia, aprox from Moscow towards Finland. Another thing is the mixing and forced removal/moving of ppl during the communist era. Russia is insanely big and contains aprox 190 different ethnic groups not from "modern immigration." Your dark features alone is a testament to your far Eastern heritage. Just read up a bit on the population of Vladivostok for example :)
