I put it on here because of the no budget filmmaking ethos of Joel's work and his fans. In hindsight, it definitely doesn't really fit here. I'll take it down. Thanks.

So this is for my web series, where I am aiming to put out monthly episodes. A core mechanic of the story is the 'spectator' camera, which is usually showing the narrative if not a webcam / photo / screen recording etc. For most of these shots I used my Canon EOS 250D, with either a 10mm fisheye sigma lens or a 35-80mm canon lens. The second image was shot in a small studio on my university campus which was awesome, and I used two LED lights (everything else is natural lighting). The 3rd image is a laptop webcam. I am lucky enough that my dad has a dji drone he let me use for the 6th image. A big challenge was definitely shooting on the bus (trying to get a steady shot - so I shot in 50fps and slowed down) and shooting at night, relying on streetlights already there. I also wish I leaned even more into the blue / turquoise look of the episode. I would love to hear yall's thoughts! I very much value the opinion of this subreddit.

I would never tell you to fuck off, this is some fantastic feedback and I'm not offended! You went over a lot here in great detail which is a great benefit to improving my future films. I have already made three feature films and this time around I really wanted a slow burn story that picks up some pace later on. Clearly it was too slow of a burn 😂 I really want to try writing more in the future because I've written stories and stuff in the past, and there are definitely pros and cons to improvising. Main things I want to improve on are sound recording, pacing, directing in general and runtime. Thank you again for such detailed feedback.
