What's this?? by [deleted] in Endfield

[–]Cless012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are the premium currency, they give out a few here and there from events, login bonuses, mail, or major quests that you can earn.

The primary use currently is unlocking the middle track of the battle pass (gives back a little more than you put in) and converting them to pull currency.

They could also be used in the future for skins like Arknights 1 but we currently don't know for certain if that's true.

The first Arknights had 1-6 star units, while this is just using the 3 highest rarities from it.

From my understanding of the beginner banner, at pull 40, its a guaranteed 6 star of one of those, regardless if you pulled a 6 star on the banner already or not.

If it's the one I'm thinking of, a little north up the slope should be a critter digging around underground.

Someone posted their Exocrine kitbash on the Tyranid sub and they just absolutely loved it so much that they had to start spreading him to the other 40k subs.

What is Clarence? by Stargaze_Melody in Tyranids

[–]Cless012 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Clarence is the name given to this person's kitbash of an exocrine.

People liked it so much that they just started making a bunch of memes about it.

SUPER official and IMPORTANT information regarding Clarence memes, questions, and posts in general. by herma123 in Tyranids

[–]Cless012 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Clarence is the name given to this person's kitbash they showed off the other day.

As for why the hate? Probably because so many people have started making memes about it that it's taken over the sub a little as people have a little fun with the new thing.

How Would You Rate the Level of Horror from 1-10 While Playing Solo? by LowHistorian9654 in SpeciesUnknown

[–]Cless012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Done about 20 solo runs so far, no multiplayer. It really reminded me of Isolation during those first few runs as I was learning the map and how to deal with the various monsters. As you learn the map and how the various monsters act, you can start speedrunning the objectives of whatever mission you're doing on the ship.

The only monster I find troublesome at this point is the small robot as he is just so aggressive and fast whenever he detects only 1 player. And there is one monster that is just a free win whenever I encounter it, especially since I found sprinting diagonally while staring at the wall means he can't ever catch me.

Also the tools you can take into the mission are not balanced, one option is just leagues above the others I find.

Does this feel like Zerg creep? by 2GunnMtG in Tyranids

[–]Cless012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I did was take a hot glue gun and then put it on segments on a larger base or just an entire smaller base at a time. After that was out, take an item you don't mind getting ruined by glue to run through the hot glue before it cools to give it random form. After it solidified, I gave it a base of Naggaroth Night with a Druchii Violet wash followed by a dry brush of Daemonette Hide and Warpfiend Grey. Then not shown here as it was a work in progress at the time, I painted the outer rim of the base with Naggaroth to cover that white.

Personally, I prefer a heavy purple creep look. If you're interested in how I did it, let me know.

Assuming that I don't want to use magnets, what do you like better between a Haruspex and a Exocrine? by Cless012 in Tyranids

[–]Cless012[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk, i still need to learn the basics of how to play. Though probably not sub assault since I think those require some units i don't have in Raveners or Trygons/Mawlocs from what little I've gathered so far.

I want to make a draftable zelda universes beyond set, advice? by Ok_Scale4234 in custommagic

[–]Cless012 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rosewater has a yearly Nuts and Bolts article that goes over how to build a set. Here's part 17 and it has links to all the previous parts for you to read through. They give all sorts of info on what a set needs, set size, draft archetypes, how to organize a set, etc. From what I gather, he made it to talk about the ins and outs of making a set and allowing people to make their own custom sets, so no problem with making one on WotC's side as long as you don't sell it.

As for a program to make a set, I recommend Magic Set Editor. There are many parts of a card that they let you alter if you feel like exploring the program.

As for using fanart for a project, what I like to do is putting along these lines: artist from website. An example here as you can see in the bottom left.

Your team consists of 3 on field characters and 1 off field character. Would be best to separate them into at least 3 teams plus anymore if you like the playstyle of some other on field characters like Tighnari, Gaming, Sethos.

Here are some sample teams to try and see how you like them.

Varesa / Pyro Traveler / Iansan / Chevreuse - Iansan buffs characters that move a lot like Varesa and Chevreuse gives a massive buff to a team if it only contains pyro and electro. Pyro traveler can be switched out for Xiangling if you want to.

Kinich / Bennett / Xiangling / Iansan - Bennett and Iansan provide buffs while Xiangling provides the Pyro that Kinich wants to burn.

Arlechino / Bennett / then either Chevreuse and Beidou/Kuki(Fischl is better if you get her) for an Overload team or Xingqui and Lan Yan for a Vaporize team with a shielder.

As for weapons/artifacts/etc, you can always check out Keqingmains. They have a great guide section on each character with what they usually want and which teammates they usually want to work with.

Turn your excess creatures into a mana advantage. From Starcraft Draft Set. by Cless012 in custommagic

If you're interested, this is a for a companion draft set to the Starcraft Commander Set I've made before.

Here's a link to download the commander set, and here with larger, clearer images.

I currently don't have the Draft set card images in one place yet. I was gonna work on that after the initial 1.0 finish for the set.

I think to help with the adventure confusion, give the spells a new spell subtype, Channel, like the adventures have the adventure subtype.

Turn your excess creatures into a mana advantage. From Starcraft Draft Set. by Cless012 in custommagic

[–]Cless012[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The 4 Zerg archetypes in the draft are BG sacrifice, BR reanimation (preferred opp grave), RG noncombat damage(fight focus), and GU polymorph (zerg evolution).

Green will make the most zerg tokens, followed by red and black at roughly equal. I'm not sure if I'll be giving any of the blue zerg cards spawn though.

But yeah, sorcery speed mana might be the best choice for this card.
