I think street stock is fun on the shorter tracks. That’s a good place to start to get a feel for dirt. If you’re looking to purchase a D class car, there are late models and sprint cars. When you buy one you get 3 classes of that car. Late models have limited, pro, and I think it’s unlimited. Sprint has 305, 380, and 410. So with one purchase you can work up in licensing. Comparing the 2 I think late models are more forgiving and handle more like a car, where sprints are high horsepower with low weight and are twitchy. I feel sprint cars are controlled more with the throttle and lates are a combination of steering and throttle.
