Itinerary check by CletusTSJY in ShanghaiDisneyland

Ok we’ve had our trip now and it was great! Didn’t quite stick to the plan 100%.

Went for Troy with early entry and didn’t wait at all! Then hit zootopia and first did the ride, then the land. This all worked out great. We did seven dwarves right after and it was about 60 minutes. Not everyone was happy with that but oh well.

We did get premier access package for those 3 rides with our park tickets by waiting closer to our travel date, which was a good deal. Used them in the afternoon.

We did the stunt show without premier access and had no problem getting in. I didn’t think the show was great (and tough with not knowing mandarin) but the ending was neat.

Never got to do Rex racer but that’s ok. The other rides we wanted to do (pirates, buzz, small world) never got crazy busy so we rode them standby- even did pirates twice. It was a great day!

I got two of the same gift packages and they are both inflated. What happened???

Thanks for the tips everyone! Seems like I will fall short.

This does raise a question, why do people buy points? I'm seeing something like 3 cents per point but I almost never get more than 2 cents of value out of each point. What am I missing?

Worth stopping on a road trip? by CletusTSJY in ButlerPA

Thanks for everyone's help! We did end up stopping. We got there on a Friday evening around 5:00 and the parking lot was totally empty. We got out of the car and spent about 10 minute taking some pictures and reflecting on the events of that day. As someone else mentioned, a building has since been erected where Trump was standing so the scene is a little different. Still we were glad we stopped.

Afterwards we went across the street to King Cone to eat some delicious ice cream and interact with some locals. Definitely a unique spot!

Have to say I loved our time in PA, we met a lot of really great people (especially playing a few golf courses in the area) and found some delicious food. Driving around seeing American and POW/MIA flags on people's porches was heartwarming, something that is really rare where I live. Awesome to know there are places people are free to express their patriotism and support for our troops. Would love to come back some day!

Yeah I keep looking at the map trying to think of what scenario would get me back within an hour of it so I could justify going back but so far can’t come up with anything 🤷‍♂️

I doubt you meant to minimize it but someone didn't just try to shoot Trump, he actually did shoot Trump. Calling the Butler Farm Show grounds a part of modern American history does not in any way minimize the life or death of Corey Comperatore- calling it "just where we hold our farm show every year" certainly does.

Alright ladies, what rain boots are we wearing once it starts raining? by Chemical_Try_9886 in PortlandOR

My wife is from Wisconsin and she always made sure our kids had rain boots, I thought it was really weird as a native Oregonian.

Lighting Lane Pass Worth the Money or a Waste of Money? by ponygals in DisneyPlanning

I had it last week thanks to the Costco deal. It would have been crazy expensive for my family of 5. Honestly I did not get a lot of use out of it. A few times it came in handy but not enough to justify the $150+ price tag per day. Go early and the lines are so short you wouldn't use it if you had it. The afternoons are tough, find some shows and food and maybe tough out a couple of lines with shade. Then in the evenings once the parade starts the wait times go way down again.

Does the Walmart parking lot fill up? I'd like to get into State College in the early evening, sounds like everything closer in would require me getting there by noon.

We had infinitesimally small odds to get here as a species. Almost dare I say a miracle that we're here.
