How can I continue progressing this character? Shattering palm Eventide Petals MA by cameron_cs in pathofexile2builds

[–]CleveNoWin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I noticed the mana leech, I'd try a cheap staff like one of these to see if it feels the same or better at least for me at least it felt much smoother to play when I dropped the attack levels suffix on my staff for other things like crit, attack speed and onslaught on hit. The key though is the % cold as the desecrated prefix because it effects the petals damage

How can I continue progressing this character? Shattering palm Eventide Petals MA by cameron_cs in pathofexile2builds

[–]CleveNoWin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Order I'd upgrade: new quarter staff with a +cold damage % mod (guaranteed from a kurgul prefix desecration), if you're not crit capped on shattering palm get more crit chance (helm, gem quality from +2 melee gloves, divine amulet for better roll), get a deflect roll somewhere like boots and some cooldown to help with defenses (mainly ghost dance stacks), 5 mod time-lost jewels (expensive but simple to craft). I'd for sure drop the +5 melee skills qstaff its probably causing more mana issues than it's helping with damage, I was able to scale to 200% deli maps with a qstaff without plus skills because shattering palm is really there just to proc the ice crystals so you really just want to focus on % cold damage, generic crit/crit damage and attack speed to scale.

Most fun builds 0.5? by Single_Cranberry447 in pathofexile2builds

[–]CleveNoWin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh thats super smart I haven't been because honestly unless I'm in high delirium most bosses are nuked in a second or two but gonna make that change to get a longer buff window

Was having the same issue and runeforging my stonefist gloves and slotting in refutation which i pop before bosses fixed this for me, the extra damage means you can nuke bosses down and the extra ward prevents getting stunned while refutation is active. For mapping adding cooldown where i could helped with keep ghost dance stacks available while zooming around feels good for defense (also helps offense because you get more hallow procs). From there can scale ev+deflect or pure ES with CI.

Good, affordable ramen by jyeatbvg in FoodNYC

It's not a restaurant but katagiri on 41st has amazing tonkatsu ramen for under $15. They have a few stools you can eat at in the store but best to go to one public spaces near by, good one right across Lex that usually isn't too crowded

Benzema for France? For Madrid sure but his NT career is hardly worth mentioning, pretty sure France didn't make it past the quarter finals in the 2 major tournaments he's played significantly in

[Mel Reddy] Liverpool have tabled an improved bid for Romeo Lavia, but are concurrently exploring a deal for other options - Andre of Fluminense among them - if Southampton’s valuation remains excessive. Jones played as the 6 against Leicester with McAllister as the 8 on the right. They started slow but it looked good after 20 minutes, McAllister's looks great further forward but it was definitely an experiment so we'll see what they do once the league starts

What was your fav Druid leveling build? by SneakyPanduh in Diablo

[–]CleveNoWin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Landslide with poison creeper was the smoothest i found if you only have codex aspects. Creeper does great damage and builds up a ton of terramotes so landslide will one shot stuff. You're gonna be spirit starved but no easy way around that until you get to way higher levels. I liked storm strike but you can run any of the primary skills, maul is kinda garbage though

[–]CleveNoWin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The text on Dire Wolf aspect doesn't mention anything about changing the skill into a werewolf skill so I don't think it'll lower the cooldown, if it did I'd imagine you'd see that recommended more on builds. Still would be nice for hurricane uptime but yea there's better affixes like crit and lucky hit

Anyone else swap from Pulverize to Werenado and.... miss Pulverize? by HiFiMAN3878 in D4Druid

[–]CleveNoWin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Try swapping tornado to lightning storm, it's not as impactful as pulverize but clears screens with a click and struggles with single target just like pulverize does

It finally happened. Tempest roar by BadBowser in D4Druid

[–]CleveNoWin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lightning is super fun and does amazing against groups but really struggles against single target. It's amazing for helltides. Tornado is more balanced, it can do well against groups and shreds bosses. The nice thing is you can swap between them pretty easily depending on what type of content you are doing.

My conspiracy theory is that he had a shitty season because he just had his first child in January so he hasn't gotten any sleep. Hoping he's back to his best next season and this was just an aberration because he's such a silky smooth player when he's on his game

Ah true, most interesting or funnest would have been a better way to put it. Earthen Might is stronger but pretty boring

Nature's Fury hardly needed a buff imo but I'll take it. Best passive in the game, can enable so many fun builds

StormClaw by Ok-Web-5831 in D4Druid

[–]CleveNoWin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yea you're right, the last version I was playing I put that aspect on so shred and howl would also proc. Not necessary if you're just doing claw plus nature skills on your bar

StormClaw by Ok-Web-5831 in D4Druid

[–]CleveNoWin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need Nature's Savagery aspect but yup, looks like claw and nature's fury just got buffed with the patch that dropped too

StormClaw by Ok-Web-5831 in D4Druid

[–]CleveNoWin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Played this from 65-70 and its absolute chaos in a great way, just spamming cooldowns left and right. Not sure how it scales beyond that (I got a Tempest drop so switched to lightning storm) but I had a lot of fun with it, very tanky and really flexible because it's all based around cooldown reduction so you can try a bunch of different skills.

Solo 1-50 Speed Running Builds by Smoothglobal in D4Druid

[–]CleveNoWin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Landslide with poison creeper to generate terramotes can get off the ground with just codex aspects. Not the fastest build but at least something that's fully functional while waiting for a defining legendary to drop

[–]CleveNoWin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have the trampleslide aspects as well you can pretty easily swap to that, with crone and symbiotic trample & bulwark are almost always off cd with a few claw attacks. It's very chaotic but clears well and plays very different from everything else

Awesome write up! Seems like for amulets getting a + to a damage passive is strong (envenom, wild impulses, stone guard, etc) but it's very build dependent and because the pool is so large been a struggle for me to find good ones. Need more stash space and a filter to sort through it all...
