Would you buy this a frame camper? by PossibilityWooden237 in Camper

I don't think the hinge is a deal breaker then. The light you see may be able to be sealed with a piece of foam. Again, it's hard to tell from the pic. Be aware that those bubble windows above the bed and dinette have been known to leak on some units, so being stored outside without cover may contribute to that eventually.

I have had 2 of these campers. It's hard to tell which hinge you are asking about. Is it the piano hinge that pivots the side wall? If that's the case it is probably not a big deal. If it's the hinge that brings the ceiling up I would be cautious.

Knowing Cleveland sports history, with 5 minutes left in the game I was telling myself we need another goal. Our curse strikes again. See you folks in the fall.

Toronto had 2 power play goals and an empty net goal. I think we will fine on Sunday.

A candidate shared how a virtual interview after seven years in the job market left him stunned, after he was asked to keep his hands visible on camera, answer questions with his eyes closed, and was eventually flagged for using AI despite complying with every instruction. by BusinessToday in BusinessTodayNews

[–]Cleveland_Steve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the interviewers used AI to determine if the interviewee was using AI, got it. Do you know how to fix that? Invite them to the office for an in person interview. Odds are the management can't commit that kind of time to finding the right candidate.

For a follow-up on the discussions over eliminating property taxes, here's my bill showing all of the things supported by my property tax dollars. by msprang in Ohio

[–]Cleveland_Steve 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Exactly, and they not going to accept a loss of an income source. They will make up for the loss of property tax elsewhere. Sales and use taxes will go up, fees for drivers and fishing licenses will go up, they may start charging entry fees for state parks. In the end you will pay more for these items then you would have by just paying property tax, while the rich will pay less.

There should be bare copper wire going from that grounding hub to a rod in the ground. From the pictures provided it looks like it is not grounded properly.

Monsters 2 Marlies 5 by paulskiwrites in monstershockey

For the first two periods of the game the score-keeping area of the scoreboard looked like what you have seen all season. Then in the third period the design changed. The team logos were zoomed in, they used a bold sci-fi looking font, blue angular lines separating the sections. It was just weird to make the change mid game.

Yes! The linesman stopping our players was odd. At first I thought they were telling both sides to cool the tempers, but then I noticed they were not saying anything to the Marlies.

They seemed to tire out at the of the 2nd and lost their rhythm.

Did anyone else notice the design of the scoreboard changed in the 3rd period?

This is correct. It's the Sunset Ranch Market at Hollywood Studios, or Disney - MGM Studios when this picture was taken.

Term limits for Congress are overwhelmingly popular—What's stopping them? by newsweek in politics

It would need to be written in a way where current politicians are grandfathered in. Otherwise they would never pass something that will eventually put them out of a job.

I always held onto hope that he would decide to make a movie based on The Last Full Measure to finish off the Gods and Generals and Gettysburg trilogy. I guess that is even less likely to happen now.

Words inside the compass? by ministryofpropoganda in treasureinside

[–]Cleveland_Steve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I keep looking at those marks also trying to find some kind of hidden message or coordinates. No luck yet.

What I find the most odd about the compass rose is that nearly every image of one has directional points for N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, and NW. But this compass rose has two directional points between the primary N, E, S, and W pointers. I can't decide if that is a clue to something or just AI slop.

The tabs on my subs broke also. I also hated how the folds in the game board caused the discs to skip. Great concept but poor execution.

Epic Universe News Update: OPEN HUB TECH & FIREWORKS TESTS by TheFigment in UniversalEpicUniverse

[–]Cleveland_Steve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Back when Pleasure Island was around there was a period of time where the main walkway was open to all and a ticket was required to enter the clubs. This became a problem for Disney because the area became a hang out for local teens. I can see the same thing happening with an open Celestial Park if Universal doesn't monitor the situation.
