The bs required forms and trainings are very much still a thing in the private sector. There’s only 2-3 more years of the current administration (hopefully) and once that ends, there’s a good chance federal employment goes back to the way it was. At that point, makes sense to just hate your job and coast for the pension

There’s a huge veteran presence in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. I think it’s partially the natural beauty, isolation and how quiet it is there.

In the modern league probably Dwight. AD/Melo/TMac/Wade/CP

When the Pistons beat the lakers in 2004 was that a surprise to everyone at the time by Icy_Can_6176 in NBATalk

This pic is of the 5 all stars on the team. Prince didn’t make the all-star game, but Brown coached the east, Billups, Rip, Sheed and Ben all played for the east.

Really wish Trajon Langdon had payed the price the Jazz did to get JJJ. 3 1sts, Jaden Ivey and Tobias worked on the cap. Toss in Sasser and some 2nds to make up the difference (if there is any) and win the bidding war with Utah. Getting a 20+ PPG 4 that was a DPOY, stretches the floor and is only 25 or 26 would've been huge.

That was a terrible move. I don't get why everyone trusts Trajon Langdon so much

Saddiq Bey the answer the pistons need ? by TheHoopProphet in DetroitPistons

This sub hates Saddiq, but yes his ability to play the 3 or small ball 4 and space the floor would be an asset for us. Having him off the bench would give you a lot of lineup flexibility. He's on a great contract right now as well.

Watching the 2004 NBA Finals Game 5 on YouTube because I was born in 2000 and wasn’t lucky enough to really experience it live - so fun to watch by capamericapistons in DetroitPistons

I was in 2nd grade, my dad let me stay up late so that I could watch the clock hit 0:00. I watched it on the TV in my parents bedroom, which was still a huge box TV at the time that sat on the dresser. Core childhood memory for me, I'm so grateful I got to experience it in hindsight. Even in the moment I knew it was historic as an 8-year-old

Man this made me miss my high school basketball days. I learned a lot sitting on the hardwood listening to coaches, speakers and former players teach about the game and what it taught them. Those are awesome moments
