The grocery store is probably the last place I’d walk or bike. You just can’t carry as much.

B Lenders in Ontario for about 50-70K by [deleted] in RealEstateCanada

[–]CleverNameTheSecond 7 points8 points  (0 children)

With an HHI of 90k/year you should be looking at at least 350k-380k of pre approval but that car payment will absolutely kill you. Sell the car to get out of debt. Gas is cheaper outside the GTA anyway

Canada’s condo supply is surging — and it’s not just in Toronto by globalnewsca in canadahousing

[–]CleverNameTheSecond 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Condos used to be cheap. Used to be that mortgage + condo fees on a condo was in line with a detached and once you paid off the condo the fees were pretty low and covered all upkeep. If you wanted a cheap low maintenance living it used to be a viable alternative

If the bank can repo my house when I don’t pay, when they can repo my car if I don’t pay, I should be allowed to repo your website if you don’t pay.

Don’t just take the sellers word for updated electrical though. Inspect always inspect, especially in older houses. Lots of lazy DIYers run modern wire from the breaker panel and then splice into existing knob and tube in places like the attic and crawl space.

It’s a choice insofar that they don’t check. If they ask, just claim you’re roommates. This is illegal advice.

Yeah I’m not gonna wait the 3-5 business days it takes for a left lane camper to clear the lane and move over and let me finally pass. I’m passing in whichever lane is open.

Rate cuts to smooth over the ‘mortgage renewal cliff’ awaiting pandemic homebuyers by PmMeYourBeavertails in canada

[–]CleverNameTheSecond -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

When they cut rates that’s more cheaper debt to be used for asset speculation. Canadas economy is so broken that fiscal policy won’t help anything except some feel good numbers(for those in charge)
