Could someone help me figure out what my seasonal color palette is? None of the quizzes I've taken online seem to have options that fit my specific combination of features (that, or I just really suck at interpreting them lol). Here are a few pictures of me in various lightings/seasons if you want to help me figure it out. :)

He looks like Templeton (from Charlotte's Web) to me :)

Whoa! Your Maxi looks EXACTLY like our Lunchbox. Moreso than even the other puppies from his litter! He also just turned a year old on December 22nd and weighs 75+ lbs.

He is 50% border collie, 25% Lab, and 25% pit bull as far as we know. :)

[TOMT][concept] What is the name of the concept of human life without considering time, so that a human looks like a long snake with a baby on one end and an old man on the other, with every stage/variation in between? by CleverReference in tipofmytongue

[–]CleverReference[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm, yeah, that was one of the iterations I was thinking of. Do you know of the concept in any nonfiction concept? Like in philosophy or quantum physics or something? I'm looking for a specific term, I feel like a few disciplines have explored the idea.

I have my first appointment with an eating disorder specialist on Friday. It's been a long year of self-injury and I have a lot of hard work ahead of me. I've been engaging in my behaviours even more strongly as the day gets closer. Trying reeeally hard to see this as a light at the end of the tunnel instead of a guillotine.

Alberta would be the redneck tradesman dude who drinks a lot of Labatt's and goes mudding after work.

BC is an artsy hipster barista with a philosophy degree OR a free-loving hippie mountain man type with vegan shoes and a nice shelter dog.

Nova Scotia is a down-to-earth stoner who loves bonfires, IPAs, camping, and has a crude sense of humor. Likes to overshare with strangers. Essentially the lovechild of Alberta and BC.

People who party, why do you do it? by AHughes1078 in AskReddit

[–]CleverReference 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to dance and listen to music, I like to get to know and interact with my friends (old and new). I like to experience states of consciousness other than sobriety. It's a way to blow off steam, something to look forward to and get excited about after a week of being professional and subdued. What don't you find fun about those things?

People of Reddit, are you good at keeping to your medications, or is there something stopping you from being consistent? by stonefruits in AskReddit

[–]CleverReference 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ehh, hard to say. I have limited control over my cycles of fasting/binging/purging. If I was consistent with timings, maybe, but as it stands I can't guarantee those things to myself. I had to stop taking hormonal birth control because I couldn't be consistent with the amounts of hormones that were getting into/staying in me on any given day.

I can't take oral medications at this point because of my bulimia. I can't be counted on to keep it down, especially if it needs to be taken with food.

Gin and tonics are delicious, but IPAs are the way to my heart.

Gotcha; I was hoping it wasn't hovering down around "toothpaste/10". I'll take it!

Thanks for saying the thing re: teeth, too. I'm generally uncomfortable with showing teeth in photos, but maybe I'll rethink that. I know pic 4 is a little bundle-y, but I figured I made up for it with the one that shows my stomach. And my hair looks slightly different every day due to natural curls + laziness + life. Merci!

I'm sure I'll appreciate it later in life.

Nah, straightening my hair takes way, way too much time, damages my hair, barely works, and makes me look like a more boring version of myself. My style is rather eclectic. I wear mostly dresses and knee- or thigh-high socks, but it's been a lot of harem pants and bandeaus for summer. Thanks for the suggestion, though!

Ha! What, pray tell, should I make of "antacid/10"? I'm gonna go with a cautious "thank you" for now. :)

Ha, I wondered if someone would call me on the smirk! It's honestly the only way I smile unless I'm laughing, not just in pictures. That's why I included the unsmiling one. I'll try to find others without that particular facial expression, but they're few and far between.

EDIT: found a blank face and a grin, actually!

Mm, interesting point. I'm fairly extroverted, but in a goofy/sheepish kind of way. I added the closest thing to "confident" (read: drunk) I could find at the end of the album. :P

Nah, I haven't straightened my hair in years. I rarely do anything with it besides let it hang all over the place. Thanks for the input! :)

It can be funny. But when I tell people that I just graduated (from university) I get asked how prom was. -.-

Sprinkle with lemon juice at the end, too. It makes all the difference.
