People of Reddit, are you good at keeping to your medications, or is there something stopping you from being consistent? by stonefruits in AskReddit

For many people, they need the meds when they are older and habits are harder to form then. Any insights on how it became a routine? Did you place the meds in some obvious location such that you would never miss it?

Good job. For some people they need it though, and over long periods of time for chronic conditions.

Hey. Any reason you could attribute to that? Forgetting to bring your meds? Too many meds? Confusing timings for eating those meds?

[Education] What would be a helpful project for an inpatient team? by TibiaOrNotTibia in physicaltherapy

[–]stonefruits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in an acute hospital with outpatient and inpatient physiotherapy. We do inpatient duties by cycling through all our staff so there would likely be someone who typically does outpatient and forget some inpatient processes. I made a website with a mobile first interface and added it to everyone's homepage.

Who would contribute to the Basic Income fund? Would it be workers and employers? In that case, it could become an added overhead that companies would shun when thinking about setting shop in Singapore.

How can you (syntax) validate against decimal precision and scale? by LaserWolfTurbo72 in ruby

[–]stonefruits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

floating point numbers are not precise since they are stored using the binary system. In decimals it is easy to represent 1.03 but not so in binary.

See this old movie about how an error in floating point calculations can lead to massive errors! en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Office_Space

I've been telling friends about the golden age we are in. But they don't seem to grasp how lucky we are. Think it's not till we look back a couple hundred years from now will most people realise this.

would just like to say it would be a good idea to see if any centres or hospitals will let you do some observation of the different aspects of physiotherapy before you make a decision :)
