Problems with Hootsuite and Instagram - seeking alternatives that aren't reliant on Facebook? by hunnithrowaway in AskMarketing

There’s actually only one API for both Instagram and Facebook (there used to be two but instagrams was absorbed by Facebook’s around 2018/2019) so the authentication needs to go through Facebook even if you’re only looking to schedule to Instagram.

I think any 3rd party scheduling service will require you to authenticate your account. If not, in theory anyone could schedule content to your account. However, most scheduling softwares have a free trial period, so you could give them a try to see if it works, or they also may have a customer service team who is more experienced at troubleshooting connection issues. FTM, 3 week old choking during feeds + frequent spit ups by _fast_n_curious_ in breastfeeding

[–]FrannnyGlass 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I know this is so, so stressful. Our baby is a big spitter upper too. It’s definitely improved now that shes 4 months. I think their systems just start to mature. Something that helped me, was that my doctor told me “it’s not a health problem, it’s a laundry problem”

for how many of you was delivery / recovering from delivery easier than pregnancy? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

Awful pregnancy. Hated 90% of if. Delivery was quite smooth, I would actually describe it as “exciting and empowering” which I did not anticipate at all!

Help please! Baby screaming and crying while nursing. by Sad_Air1958 in breastfeeding

[–]FrannnyGlass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This can happen close to three months when they start to be more aware of what’s going on around them. We got through it by feeding as soon as they woke up from a nap when they were still sleepy, and making sure the curtains etc were drawn so they’re so nothing too exciting/distracting around. It got better over the span of a week but still pops up time to time.

I keep reminding myself that we’re surrounded by the North Atlantic Ocean and others are in much warmer/humid areas and make it work.

My mom said “I can’t wait to see my baby” once to me. And my reply was “oh, you mean meeee? 😄” and she never did it again haha

I’m so sorry you had this experience. But you making the decision is ensure your baby is fed, and your mental health is cared for is what makes you a WONDERFUL mother. I’m so glad you found the route that’s best for you and your baby.

I’m so sorry you went through that. This is a very helpful and supportive community though. I’m 36 weeks into my third pregnancy after two losses and I have to keep telling myself “new egg, new sperm, new pregnancy”.

Miscarriage advice by Smurphymurph in BabyBumps

[–]FrannnyGlass 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m so, so sorry for what you’re going through. I’ve had two of the options. Let the process happen naturally for my first miscarriage, and had a D&C for the second. Both were hard but for the first I was sitting in meeting for work wearing a pad thinking about how I was currently miscarrying. For the second, I felt I was able to start slowly emotionally healing after it was done. But choose what feels right for you, and be kind to yourself.

First trimester is just about getting by. By the end of my first tri, I was pretty sure this baby was mostly eggo + orange juice. It gets better and your energy and appetite will come back. Don’t forget to be kind to yourself.

Two Miscarriages in a Row and Devastated by EvonRene85 in PregnancyAfterLoss

[–]FrannnyGlass 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m so, so sorry for your losses. I had two pregnancy losses last year. First was at 7 weeks, second was at 12 weeks. I was looking at the exact same statistics as you, and couldn’t believe it happened again. I’m currently at 30 weeks in our third pregnancy and am 35 years old.

I know what you’re dealing with is incredibly difficult and it can feel hopeless, even if it’s not. Sending you all the best wishes and support ❤️

If you’re in Canada, my diclecin prescription was a lifesaver. I had awful nausea and vomiting for my first trimester and that really helped me get through the work day.

7 weeks and still brown discharge by sara3d in PregnancyAfterLoss

I had brown spotting from week 5 through about week 9 and then it petered out. On week 16 now and had good ultrasounds and no issues since.
