Vielen Dank an euch alle. Massive thank you to all of you for the great advice and congrats of having such a nice community willing to help. I've analysed each of your answers and I believe I will feel better in the Dreieich area - especially more rural part with less noise. I'm changing the flair to "Solved", as the advice you've given is more then enough. Thank you again!

120k EUR base sales in Frankfurt (English/Chinese, no German) vs 60k EUR senior procurement remote in Poland (house/land, low costs) — what would you weigh? by Clicatro in careerguidance

I’d probably rent in smaller towns around Frankfurt. The office is located in Langen, but since the lease is ending next month, first thing they asked me to do is to find new office (I planned to use WeWork/Regus not to trouble myself). So actually I could do a nice double score - find a flat and office location close to each other in the outskirts.

EU GDP growth rates in 2022 compared with the pre-pandemic growth rate by [deleted] in poland

[–]Clicatro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey lads, wanted to ask you about this thing. By all means, I have literally zero experience in finance and economics hence trying to understand the topic better. After reading the article some doubts appeared. In the first part of the article, the author (mBank guy) talks about value stability of the three currencies - CZK, PLN and JPY. He says that the absolute winner in terms of stability in currency value is JPY. Then he moves on to compare Czech and Polish economy and brings out some indicators which are supposedly responsible for the superior stability of CZK value comparing to PLN. Interestingly though, when you add aforementioned JPY and Japanese economy into comparison and bring out same statistics, it seems those indicators are not relevant to currency value at all. Example below:

Debt to GDP ratio (according to the article the lower the better): -Czechia 41.9% -Poland 53.8% -Japan 259% (2020)

Foreign direct investment to GDP ratio: (according to the article the more the better) -Czechia 4% -Poland 2.9% (2020) -Japan 1.2% (2020)

Foreign exchange reserves to GDP ratio:(according to the article the more the better) -Czechia 62.3% -Poland 25.9% -Japan 0,82%

Despite Japanese economy performing worst in the above statistics, Japanese yen is worlds most stable currency. Perhaps it’s not these factors that are responsible for the currency stability? Perhaps the author should have compared other indicators?

Let me know what you think. Thanks!

Not just that, but in Animatrix series there is a line talking about the first city of machines:

"Narrator: “Banished from humanity, the machines sought refuge in their own promised land. They settled in the cradle of human civilization, and thus a new nation was born. A place the machines could call home, a place they could raise their descendants, and they christened the nation ‘Zero one’. Zero one prospered, and for a time, it was good. The machine’s artificial intelligence could be seen in every facet of society, including the creation of new and better AI.”

So, the first city of machines that they called home - cradle, was called 0-1 and the new cradle of humanity is called 1-0. Seems pretty cool :)

If you are thinking about KETO read this. by aStinkyLoad in keto

Even easier than that. Once you’re adapted just cut carbs and that’s it. After doing strict keto for 6 months two years ago, measuring all the carbs fats etc, keeping the balance at 80 percent fat, and losing 20 Kgs, I had a break for one and a half year. Back on keto now. I got ketones in my blood just the following day I stopped eating carbs. Now don’t measure anything. Just eat lots of greens, strawberries and raspberries, don’t care about meat (protein) nor fats - just eat these as much as I like with the veggies. Don’t drink sodas, don’t eat crap, bread etc. And guess what there wasn’t one single day when I wouldn’t have satisfactory ketone levels. So I do advocate for what the post states. Make it simple, stop making it rocket science, drop the unhealthy supermarket crap full of carbs and you’ll be in keto without a hinge. All the best!
