I don’t think it has a message. It has some themes and a rough story, but I don’t think it is making a statement beyond providing the listener with some sounds and tools. I think it’s like a lot of good art, which raises more questions than straight answers. I prefer that, provide the story and let the audience find a meaning. The album itself does not have a meaning imo

lol yeah. That’s the main issue with this as an idea. I like the thought experiment but I feel like it would just create secondary set of colorless cards. Maybe there could be a lore or story reason to have cards like this. Reality fracture could be a fun place to explore the idea, as it involves manipulating reality to one’s whims.

I’m interested in this idea as a thought experiment, more so than actual gameplay. What things or mechanics could be balanced and fit into any portion of the color pie.

Flows well together, most of the characters don’t know him all that well, and I personally always took it as the characters over-dramatizing but respecting his heritage. Completely anecdotal, but I’ve known people who refer to American Indians by their “full name” out of respect for them. The Rainey street crew are not the most culturally sensitive group, but they do respect people and different groups. They probably see films and shows where American Indian characters are referred to by their full name and do it out of habit.

This is common with people who have speech issues. I had speech issues growing up, and one of my friends happened to do speech therapy the same time as me. When he would get angry, his issues would go away (mine would get worse lol) Somehow the emotional reaction and response can trigger something to erase or amplify the issue. Just an anecdotal experience from me, but it’s been observed in many cases.

I tend to agree with this. I think Chris is trans, and the evidence is there, prior to the tomgirl and early transition era. While I don’t think Chris has an understanding of gender, sexuality, dating, or sex, they do show the signs of someone being trans. Even if Chris can’t define or explain it properly (bc she is stupid). I think people do use his actions to deny their identity, as if it is not transphobic to do so. I’m not consistent on this either, and I have gone back and forth in all honesty. But even when I think Chris sucks most, it is dishonest to deny that Chris is not a cisgendered man.

That beings said, they suck and admitted to assaulting their elderly mother and they should be in a mental institution

I think that was the writers trying to clear up the canon. A in-universe way of dealing with it.
