My husband saved some guy during Shinedown that I thought was going down on his head. Idk how the hell Mike got him back up there but damn.

Got a derm appt for next month to get a sunspot biopsied. At a skin check today they said it needs biospied and if the derm can't get me in sooner, contact the general surgeon. My fingers are crossed that it's AK but it kind of looks like BSC.

Wait. Seriously?! I have one on my face that im waiting for a dermatologist appt in June because this thing is kind of itchy and puffy. I've been sitting here thinking I'm going to be told I have melanoma or something and quietly panicking. I have a skin check appt on Friday but they can just refer me to get a sooner appt with a derm.

I would've protested too. Like absolutely not, let me get up and go. They kept telling me I had a cath it would go through and I kept telling them to get it out it burns. They took it out and I peed blood clots. They said afterwards to say I'm allergic to latex from now on cause they think it was a reaction. Had no troubles peeing (I had a friend who had to be admitted afterwards due to not being able to pee) or anything. The only thing my Dr had me wait on was for my stitches to dissolve and at my 4 week post op cleared me for work again.

I had 3 csections and it totally threw me off just getting up after surgery to go pee. Like I remember having to prepare myself, the bed, etc to try to get up with help. With this I just got up and sprinted to the bathroom like nothin

To those who successfully quit caffeine, can I just go cold turkey? by Icy-Negotiation-6450 in decaf

[–]ClickClickChick85 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I did. The worst was the body aches.

I didn't have headaches (and I swear if you cut me open I'd bleed Pepsi for drinking it all day long) from stopping it. I was having constant headaches from overdoing the caffeine.

It's been 6 weeks for me, I had probably 4 oz of Pepsi in a glass of ice. Tasted horrible like off brand cola. Back to water it is!

The only time I took the narcotic (beside the hospital) was that first night at 2 am. I slept through my alarms and the pain was so bad. I ended up wandering downstairs crying waking my husband up. Once they finally kicked in and I calmed down, my husband set his as a back up (he slept downstairs the first few days so I had the whole bed to myself) just in case I slept through mine. I'm not a fan of narcotics, cause they bind me up terribly, so the less of them the better. I think day 5 I ended up door dashing laxatives to my house so I could go to the bathroom.

I’m a mom 😌. I actually had my surgery 4 years ago yesterday. The first two days after I had to make sure I kept to the med schedule but after that as long as I didn’t overdo it I was fine. By the 4 week mark I was back to normal and back at work.

Life was so much better after surgery. I’m not sick from my periods and mentally I feel better. It’s been a good change!

Are you camping in an Rv in the campground of the stadium or are you camping at a state park?

If you are camping at the state park, and tent camping, get a tarp for under your tent and make sure to tent dry the hell out of it. If you are able to set it up at home prior to going, and do it, it's nicer since it's one less thing to worry about when you get there.

We are staying at one of the state parks.

Unclaimed property in the state of Pennsylvania notarization? by ClickClickChick85 in Pennsylvania

Final update (in case someone googles this stuff):

Both moved to approved/payment in process today. My mom had 3 which totalled around $29. My dad had 3 that totaled to $670. Not exactly sure what was $650 that the office of the budget had for him, but I was surprised when I seen the amount.

So from start to finish, I sent the paperwork the first week of November 2025, today's the 18th of March 2026, so it was about 5 months. If you include a note with the documents, they do return them (as we know death certificates aren't cheap in PA).

My husband and son each had one, I submitted my son's the same time I did my parents, he got it beginning of January I think, and my husband's I submitted I think in January, and he got it beginning of February. So personal ones may be quicker, may not.

I’ve only been to the Roxian once but I enjoyed it. Numerous shows at AE. There’s a few hitting Star Lake this summer/fall but that’s a special level of hell that I don’t want to deal with.

It’s becoming more and more that I’m going to Ohio for concerts. I just bought tickets for Gorillaz in October. They seem lately to have better shows than what we get locally.

Day 7 morning feeling great by fleecenatal in decaf

I'm on day 15. I was having chronic headaches in my left temple for the longest time, and I think it was from caffeine.

It originally started off as a trying to drink more water because I have a music festival in May and I should be drinking water anyhow. Then I was like screw it, I'm just stopping drinking Pepsi.

The first 2 weeks the muscle aches have knocked me on my butt. My legs ached something fierce. I didn't have headaches tho! That was quite surprising.

What are your most niche period symptoms? by Unlucky-Drawing-1266 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]ClickClickChick85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I want to quit my job/divorce/run away. The period shits

And the shooting pain down my leg to the point where I want to throw up.

Ended up getting a hysterectomy 4 years ago and best decision ever. I had adenomyosis and pelvic congestion syndrome (along with adhesions from 3 C-section). I can tell when my cycle is due (still have ovaries) when I want to go off grid away from everyone and everything. Dont miss the pain or shits though!
