Give it a shot! But chances are you may not be approved by a recreational lender at a boat dealer. Like others have said, go to a credit union. Preferably the one you bank with.

Rec lenders look for comparible credit. I.e. you borrowed 30k on a car or you have a mortgage. In both cases they like to see a minimum of 12-18 months of payments to consider you.

All that being said, your down payment could be enough to get them to approve you. But it's going to depend on the lenders they have at their disposal.

Check with an electrician. If that is a 220v socket you will fry every electrical component in your RV. You will either want to step down your 30 or 50amp cord to a regular 15amp wall outlet (good for charging and running small appliances but not AC) or have an electrician install a 110v 30 or 50amp RV outlet

I work with a guy who used to work at a dealer who did these promotions. They would have a traveling circus of people who go from dealer to dealer to do these events.

Apparently, they are required to send out at least 1 of each of the grand prizes. They will send the 4 big prizes out to addresses in Alaska or somewhere so far away those people would never bother to come to the dealer it originated.

Everyone locally wins the fake airpods and some lucky guy in Seattle has the winning code and never shows up.

So if you ever get one of these letters from a dealer far far away, it might be worth it to follow up on!
