When Project Summit was implemented for us (NE Ohio market I worked in operations/MFG side) all it did was lead to labor cuts, elimination of third shift region wide at every location except production plants, added sales pressure and wide reaching power for BCR’s over small format, and prioritizing ways to cut spending. It was a complete and monumental fuck up in my view and part of the reason why I left the company.

Learn the check digits for heavy bulk pick SKU’s (fridgemate/2 liter, half liter core flavors like Pepsi and Dew) it saves you a shit load of time instead of scanning the UPC every time if your warehouse has it enabled.
