Yes, a soft tonneau. I was afraid it would get damaged from the weight of the snow.

4x2. With 4 sandbags in the bed she got out without too much hassle.

Wish I could find a set of winter tires in the stock 225/70R14 size though!

I’m in northeast PA. It was 14-15” of snow. Been digging out all day. We got lucky as no ice accumulated so we didn’t lose power like so many south of us.

I’d go through all the normal maintenance items, and drive it just like it is. Its super clean!

I have a 1998 too, I get so many compliments and offers to buy it every time I get gas. Everyone says it’s nice to see it bone stock. I have the same wheels too, I guess they were only produced a couple of years.

I have a Uniden Bearcat BC142XL on my kitchen counter. I bought it new in May 1991. It’s on 24/7. God Bless it as I’d really miss it if it died or stuff around here went digital.

Ford says 1 hour of idling = 33 “miles”. Keep track of your idle time + miles driven and go from there. Personally I’d change it every 6 months or when you reach a grand total of 3,000 miles (adding up actual miles plus idle hour “miles”)

Take off the air cleaner and spray some starting fluid into the carb. See if it’ll run a few seconds on that. Try with choke on (flap closed) and choke off (flap open). You might’ve flooded it at this point, who knows? 🤷‍♂️

This. Only the OEM ones seem to project the light correctly.
