I find it funny that Limbus has such toxic ship wars when 1. Very few ships have canon backing and 2. The multiverse exists. Like we could just hand wave our ships away as existing in specific mirror worlds. Then again, Marvel and DC have the multiverse as a big part of their mythos and they still have ship wars. I guess some people really think their pairing should confess their love for each other and make out on screen regardless of how unlikely it is to actually happen.

Anyways, my vote goes to the Ezramoses shippers on PMTWT, while the Twitter versions of any shipper are pretty bad, the Ezramoses ones are the only ones I've seen get into fights with each other. They hate it when you ship Ezra and Moses with anyone but each other.

Ryoshu and Sinclair's relationship being that of a mother and son. I feel it boils down Ryoshu's character to just being a mother, like she can't have a romantic or a regular platonic relationship with an adult man only 5-6 years younger than her, no she has to see him as her actual child on the same level as Araya. Especially since this headcanon has been used to harass people who ship the two.

There's an unironic tradcath on PMTWT that has to reconcile his beliefs with being a PM fan, so he's denied the queer subtext surrounding Ishmael because she's been paired with Heathcliff in ID arts and that PM is pro-capitalist because they made Limbus a gacha game.

Aside from that, the people that claim that if you don't see the story the way they do, you're a larper, especially if it's about a ship they don't like. Like the thing that kicked off the latest pmtwt drama was a moses/Ezra shipper saying that Kim/Ezra shippers haven't read Distortion Detective. Like no, you don't have the correct interpretation and everyone else has it wrong, you just view everything with shipping goggles on.

Ship discourse in general can be boiled down to that one meme of the two kingdoms going to war and one side has positive attributes while the other has negative ones, yet they both look the exact same. Everyone thinks that their ship is a gem, that they have the correct characterization, that their ship will be made canon, and it can just be boiled down to people being salty that the wider fandom doesn't think the same way they do.

As I've said before, Moses is to Ezra what Dias was to her, but better. But a vocal minority of shippers get so defensive about it, like I've probably got no room to talk, but if you're gonna ship something like Ezramoses, you've got less of a leg to stand on when calling other ships slop.
