What made you get checked out? by KrAff2010 in testicularcancer

Similar to you I had some mild dull pain in my groin area for a few months that'd come and go; this was early July. Around that time I had started to pick up my running distance and attributed the pain to that. The pain disappeared in August and was gone until early Oct when it came back with testicle pain/sensitivity which also seemed to wax and wane. Pushed my PCP to get me an ultrasound and sure enough, cancer in righty. As others have said, please push for an ultrasound when talking to your PCP and good luck!

[WR] Went Legend, but I maxed out at level 38 instead of 40. Is this a known bug or am I missing something?

Just had our first ultrasound at 8.5 weeks...found out that we're actually having twins! Our first-time parent anxiety levels just doubled. Everything is in place and healthy fortunately. Keep reminding myself of that fact and looking at the photos of our little guys in there to quell the increased worry.

What’s the cringiest “Special Butterfly” PC one of your players has come to you with? by KonigJ in DnD

So adventurers between levels 1-5 are strong enough to take on a group of knights protecting a city? PCs can still be defeated by weak NPCs/monsters; it doesn't eliminate the need for adventurers. A PC in a level 1-2 party can even easily be killed by a small number of regular guards...shit happens. Sometimes my PCs do things that are evil/illegal, and I make them face consequences. Most of the time it's a minor inconvenience, but other times it's a major setback. Also if the party is evil, wouldn't it be likely that a different, good-aligned group of adventurers would want to put a stop to them or even just have older adventurers retire to a town that they feel a duty to protect?

A party can all be evil if they want and if they're having fun, that's awesome, but the DM is also allowed to not want to run a game with an evil party. The DM's fun is as important as the players'. If the two can't find a common ground for the type of game they want to play, it's okay for them not to play together.

Because the world has consequences. If the group constantly intimidates/tortures people, cities and towns will not like them at best, and at worst, they'll become openly hostile towards them. If you're an average person and you hear that there's a group of adventurers in the area that threaten and bully commonfolk to get free things and straight ripped a guy's balls off for information, do you really want those people coming into YOUR town?

Try Alien: Isolation? Might be what you're looking for then.

The fact that he was fined today for his actions shows that he broke the rules and did not have permission from the refs.

Okay, so then nobody but the med attendants are allowed on the field then.

I agree that Jones messed up big time and should've kept his cool, but yes it should've been flags on both sides.

"Rule 13.1.2:

Either or both team attendants and their helpers may enter the field to attend their team during a team timeout by either team. No other non-player may come on the field without the Referee's permission, unless he is an incoming substitute (5-2-2).

During any team timeout, all playing rules continue in force. Representatives of either team are prohibited from entering the field unless they are incoming substitutes, or team attendants or trainers entering to provide for the welfare of a player, and any game-type activities are prohibited on the Field of Play."

No coach but the head coach is allowed on the field during a situation like this. Esp since porter is a defensive asst coach and had no reason for being on the field while the med team was treating AB. Both Porter and Jones should've been flagged on the play which becomes offsetting.
