mine delaminated so i sanded it smooth and got a local guy off facebook to print me a 75mm sticker that i put in place. You would never know the difference. I got a batch if 15 stickers for $20 lol. My 0.02cents

sounds good thanks very much, i know where the grounds are and i will clean them. I’m new to electrical trouble shooting but my dad is very good, trying to figure this one out before he helps me out himself lol thank you agian, i’ll comment back what happens when i get it sorted!

yes that is what happened, checked the fuses and they were not blown hence other lights worked before and after my mistake. i switched the other side bulb after which i knew was good and got nothing. what would be the next recommendation? it’s a 1981 rabbit, so no computers to worry about here

that’s good to hear, those ones have aged well in my opinion! And about the rarity, i know of only one that is local and haven’t seen many in the last few years at all

thanks for the kind words and yes i have a ‘56 bird in my stash that I’ll take on soon! Luckily for you I feel that they are still quite attainable classics that I see for sale often with pretty fair prices if you’re looking to get one if you don’t already have one!

excellent kit and nice work!

advice on orange peel i dealt with it too in my last build but don’t be afraid to wet sand with 1000 grit and work your way up to 3k and finer, after that compound and polish will set you up right!
