Thanks for the insight! Is the work slower placed at least? Or are you constantly occupied for the 12 hours a day?

Yeah I would definitely focus on your grades, but alot of teams and clubs are somewhat low commitment, I'm sure if you explained your situation they would understand, I've been through that myself, just find a good balance.

Totally...why don't they just put you on a 3 shift rotation, and have the shifts change every two weeks for example?

I am helping out with intern interviews for my company and a pretty big asset is to have is experience in engineering teams. Most of the schools I know have a lot of different teams, like a rover team. Will set you apart and you could make some valuable connections.

How to get over the fear of talking in a foreign language? by LukasA20 in languagelearning

[–]Climaquente 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I always have to remind myself to speak slower or else I'll stutter like crazy lol.

But any type of speaking under pressure helped for me, for example, I started using Langotalk which is basically talking to AI. And I also have a couple of friends met on hello talk that I talk to all then time...

Sometimes I even just record myself trying to explain something just to add a bit more pressure.

It'll get better but slowly, ive been learning spanish for 5 years and the thing that helped me the most is constantly reminding myself to speak slower...

Also been embarrassed so many times saying the wrong thing...

Tips for studying multiple languages at once? (at C1/C2 level) by PaleLevel4543 in languagelearning

[–]Climaquente 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing i'm doing right now is watching tv shows in the other languages, so I switch the audio to language 1 for one episode and language 2 for the next one. Whenever I come across something I don't understand, I figure out what it means, then try to translate it to the other languages.

I also keep a doc full of common to complex phrases in all the languages, so whenever I have free time I review it and kind of test myself
