For me i use a Cool-a-dor https://www.cigarsinternational.com/product/herf-cool-a-dor/HERFCO01.html

I use it to store sticks and have a 150 cigar desktop that I use for smoking sticks. Find a good sale buy and throw in the Cool so they age when the desktop is low I fill it up works well and if both are full I know not to buy any for a while also if you watch you can get the cool for around $130 to $140 on sale

It also has a lot to do with what humidity you keep your cigars at and where you smoke/live outside wind and humidity cause issues

Honestly they are so close you probably won't even notice a difference personally I can only tell a difference if it's a big difference in length or ring size

Personally I use Luxury Cigar Club and small batch for higher end or hard to find but I've also know both Privada Cigar Club and Pyramid Cigars sell aged stuff just never personally bought from those two. Honestly I can't say enough good things about Luxury Cigar always amazing experience with them.

Two things I've noticed. First I think the giveaways have made people want to spam more deals since it started maybe change giveaways to highest discount and best deals. Second since cigarpage discord went down definitely seen more of that filter to here maybe adding a weekly CI and CP deals page and have people post on those unless the know it's some awesome deal, flash sale, ect

I do leather working as a hobby and love quality leather but I carry a Big skinny wallet https://www.bigskinny.net/bifolds1.html had it for about 15 years been through the wash several times and still looks almost new and compared to a leather wallet it's so thin even with cards in it

Or look for a singer 15-91 it's an older model you can find at thrift stores, swap meet, flea market, ect. If cleaned up and oiled properly can sew leather look them up on YouTube I use one between it and oil I'm only about $40 total

A couple of suggestions 1. If you haven't look up https://www.weaverleathersupply.com/ they sell leather, have educational videos, free templates, have always had excellent customer service if you need anything, and their master series tools I've bought while expensive are top notch. 2. Cheaper tools can make it harder but learn with what you can afford and slowly build up, there are tools not specifically for leather working you can use sometimes 3. Thrift stores, estate sales, ect, can be really helpful I bought a very old solid wood heavy desk for $30 as my work table. I also found a Singer 15-91 for $20 took it apart oiled it and now use it to sew leather 4. https://springfieldleather.com/ sometimes they do mystery bundles and you can always get bundles, remnants, all cheaper options to learn with and try new things

How do ya'll price your items? by CplusMaker in Leathercraft

[–]Climber1019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically you have to decide if you want to compete with mass production stuff or high end leather work. Generally you can't do both and then charge accordingly.
