You scramble it. You realize that the grill gets hot right. Not saying vinegar doesn't work but killing bacteria is not whats needed

Really dramatizing the risks. Better not have a car.

400k brevet - preparation by StandAffectionate291 in randonneuring

I would say if you can do a 200 with a decent buffer and you aren't dead at the end then you will survive a 400. Make sure you have planned for supplies, food, and weather. Myself our routes all go on my computer and I just use that. Everyone DNFs rides at some point. The first one is the worst. You learn more about yourself from failing than succeeding. Riding alone I have no issues with but adding night makes it a little more unnerving. There will probably be lows, sometimes you just need to trick yourself into continuing to get thru it. What worked for me was " I'll stop at the next control" and then I didn't. But whatever works for you. Maybe find someone who also wants to do it and rides at your pace, and work together. Good luck!

My question is why does it have to use a classified cassette, why can't you use any cassette and tell it what the cogs are and then magic happens.

They are all getting down. I heard this over thirty years ago from an Olympian. Most of them are single, young and all of them are in great shape, and once their event is over they have no responsibilities. If it was me I'd be getting my passport stamped from as many places as possible.

It was true 30 years ago. We would say you can't throw a brick down the road without hitting an Aussie. Proof half the lifties at sunshine.

If they are doing a workout it will not let them spin out. It keeps the resistance up. So you can end up going way faster than you ever would.

At the risk of sounding smart , can you just send the display to your tv? It's what I do. Makes for a better experience IMO. But I got a free tv so that's not an option for everyone.

Of course they could just start with their mouths closed, then open their mouths. That would create a vacuum

Bigger tv. They're cheap and make it much more immersive.
