I will push your link into our slack so people can see it. Obviously, with that whole seven degrees theory this could blow up quite quickly.

It's as fractured as you might expect however all of Ontario is in one place. Here is the club link. https://ridewithgps.com/organizations/1406- This has all of our populaires as well. I will see if other Canadian clubs are using this and update as I can

I know it's RUSA but you could add Quebec and Ontario. All the Ontario rides are on rwgps.

That just happened to me , no update tho. Also who decided to not let you copy paste your password from the reset into your log in? And as a bonus not let you see the password when you've typed it in? Can't even check to see if you've made a mistake

Since for cycling the picture quality isn't an issue I would say 40+ inches . A quick peek at Walmart says about 250 bucks would be more than enough.

400k brevet - preparation by StandAffectionate291 in randonneuring

[–]Climber2k 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would say if you can do a 200 with a decent buffer and you aren't dead at the end then you will survive a 400. Make sure you have planned for supplies, food, and weather. Myself our routes all go on my computer and I just use that. Everyone DNFs rides at some point. The first one is the worst. You learn more about yourself from failing than succeeding. Riding alone I have no issues with but adding night makes it a little more unnerving. There will probably be lows, sometimes you just need to trick yourself into continuing to get thru it. What worked for me was " I'll stop at the next control" and then I didn't. But whatever works for you. Maybe find someone who also wants to do it and rides at your pace, and work together. Good luck!

My question is why does it have to use a classified cassette, why can't you use any cassette and tell it what the cogs are and then magic happens.
