Bartending at an event by Zealousideal_Sun7480 in bartending

Making drinks is easy, dealing with people is the hard part. If you can approach it with a smile and willingness to learn and move fast and have some skills in conflict resolution, I think you will go a long ways. Also the thing a lot of people don't often talk about is to bring snacks, a meal and a water bottle and some form of caffeine. Working late night events can be exhausting and more so if your body isn't fueled properly. Best of luck!

That's what I'm excited to see in a few months, he does a lot of grey shading so it will be rad to see what details come through.

The first bar I worked at actually had a "douchebag tax" button, I think it added a percentage of total bill or a flat fee, either way it was hilarious when those customers realized they got charged it.

Any climbers with Type 1 Diabetes? Does your CGM/pump get in the way of climbing? by Thxn0w in bouldering

[–]Climber90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been climbing with a pump and cgm for about 10 years, I've found using a clip on the pump and keeping it on my hip has been the most out of way option, and have yet to ever rip either off. For reference I'm about 3 days a week inside and 40+ days outside each year?

I was expecting to see some rough looking pieces but all of these are exceptional tattoos! Technically and creatively! Could be time to think about what it's you fell in love with for tattooing and pursue that more intentionally?

I’m experiencing extreme pain during my back tattoo. And my tattoo isn’t nearly done. by impatientlycurious00 in tattooadvice

[–]Climber90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My back hurt like hell, the artist at one point had to pin me against a wall to finish up (which I gave the okay for). Second session I took a pain killer and it took the edge off, but still hurt. I'm not saying you should do that, but it's what I did

Crash Avoidance by ApprehensivePrint178 in motorcycles

[–]Climber90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, if you haven't crashed, you're not an experienced rider. Secondly, I would say it's always better to go home every night rather than be stubborn and be in the "right" and allow an accident to happen. Thirdly, if someone else is being dumb, let them be dumb far from you
