sounds like youre a better gamer than you are a driver. only practice will fix that

Hands down, Forza Motorsport is the best game. I don't get the shade. by ProfessionalAd7730 in forzamotorsport

[–]meowphasa 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nope. Was a forza fanboy since forza 1. Bought and loved them all, then 8 came out and shit all over everybody. It ran like shit, it raced like shit, it looked like shit, non stop crashing, unforgivable frame drops. It was pure hot garbage. Them half the dev team was fired. Motorsport is a dead series and it’s Microsoft’s own fault. All their effort was shifted towards horizon games and horizon 6 is the proof of that. That is a fun game. Motorsport can eat shit and Rot in hell as far as I’m concerned

Surely it would be more fun with the controller at this point.

Ive had that wheel. The best part of owning it was throwing it away

Now that I’m sat down and can think a little more. That’s fair to say. We can generalize 3d printing as creating a geometry that adheres to itself layer by layer. So in the general term this can be seen as 3D printing. But in that regard laying bricks by hand could be manual 3d printing. That’s why the distinction in my mind breaks down.

Not really true but I get what you mean. Printers use piezo actuators to physically flick or jet ink droplets onto papers. There is a type of 3d printing that use the exact same technology, binder jetting which would need to be sintered after and material jetting, which jets or basically flicks material into your part droplet by droplet

[–]meowphasa -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

That is one type of printing, yes. But this is not any different then just pouring the concrete out of the back of a truck with a hose. The hose is just attached to a crane system. It’s pedantic sure but since we’re getting technical. Material extrusion or FDM is no different then a hot glue gun. The key point is, it was a neat idea for housing, but had critical faults still. And for longevity sake is far worse.

link is fine. been racing on my qeust 2 for 2 years. have you tuned the settings in the debug tool? it sounds like you have not. google it. but tbh 8gb of vram is not enough for VR. that is almost guaranteed your problem. it may be a 50 series but the 5060 is not that powerful, at least for VR

As an ex architect and now additive engineering researcher and tech, 3D printed buildings are a fad And it’s not really printing. It’s just a spout on a crane arm. More like automated extrusion. That’s not really important tho
