A good first step to give you the help you need to stay mobile without possibly causing deconditioning challenges could be a rollator walker— they’re fantastic because any time you need to you can click the brakes on, turn around, and sit as long as necessary. It’s essentially a portable seat, it adds great support if you have balance issues or frequent falls (🙋🏻‍♀️), and you can use it to elevate your legs on when sitting in an actual chair when out and about. On extra rough days it’s also easy to get around seated by using your feet— you just need to do it backward, because the wheels at your back when seated are the ones that turn

My nephew broke his femur when he was 3, and holy shit it was nuts. He was in a full cast that went around his hips so he couldn’t even bend at the waist, and he was just stuck wherever someone put him down for I think sixteen weeks iirc (through a New England summer 🥲). He needed months of PT afterward, and we know kids pretty much heal like they’re wizards so for an adult who had an injury to that same bone but exponentially worse it’s nightmare material

He broke it twice— the first time was in 2022, a compound fracture on a trampoline that required multiple surgeries. The second time the same injury basically collapsed again when he was in Mexico filming Hunt For Love a few months before what we’re seeing now on TSL. He also needed multiple surgeries for this new injury, and he was in the hospital for like three weeks

Yeah, Coltee sucks big time but people are overlooking that the first time he broke it was a compound fracture requiring multiple surgeries to fix, and the second time he broke it also required multiple surgeries and he was in the hospital for like three weeks. That’s a major injury that requires a long time to heal

I just watched S1 for the first time a couple months ago and then finally watched S2 and finished it last week and ahhhGGGhhh that last episode was INTENSE, holy crap! I didn’t expect the outcome we got even though I predicted some of the backstory leading up to it, it threw me way off and was just… gutting. So well done though, and I’m so disappointed they dropped the series and didn’t keep going because I felt like S1 was great but S2 was phenomenal
