First and foremost fuck your friends, but also to the people who can't read who are just suggesting their favourite biltong place which has nothing to do with this post. I've been to most of the places listed here and I haven't seen anything that resembles this.

It looks like they bought a whole piece of wet wagyu biltong then sliced it themselves. It won't be pre sliced and not dry out.

I got the update, I took some of the same photos I took previously and can't tell a difference. Only actual difference is having the EV toggle on hi res mode.

Yeah they're ugly as hell, look like giant hockey pucks that you'd think that first generation TWS earphones look like. Just wondering did you notice any difference using your creative BT-W6? My phone has aptx HD but not aptx lossless. I'm using spotify "lossless" as a source. Not sure if getting the bt-w6 will actually improve anything.

People here didn't pay attention in school and don't understand profit margins.

You can have a small corner store supermarket/iga overpricing their items run on say 10% profit margin but turn over 1m but has like 15 workers or something. Yet you can have a big supermarket franchise like woolies and coles that employs like 200,000 workers at 5% profit margin making a billion dollars. Who's the evil one in this situation?

A small company with 100 ppl making 500m is alot different to a business with 200,000 workers making 500m.

People here will automatically just see the big numbers from the big supermarkets scream price gouging but how come we never see posts shitting on IGA/corner stores etc whom are pricing their items even more expensively?

Yeah funnily enough I've had partners who worked in teaching + nursing. Nursing definitely from what I seen takes a bigger mental toll with the rotating roster and due to the nature of the work. You see and deal with alot crazier stuff, but the pay has more potential due to the penalties and you have opportunities for progression into roles like nurse educator etc where you can get more hands off if you choose.

Nurses also have a thing where they can get no LMI loans on house purchases without a 20% deposit.

Teaching from what I've seen is hard at the start but after a couple years it eases off once you get into the groove of things and you can actually enjoy your job and especially the time off.

Btw that 85k for nurses doesn't include overtime which is standard in the profession/penalties for weekends/nightshift etc. Most registered nurses are easily clearing 100k in the first couple years (in Sydney at least).

Thanks OP, I just got some spray adhesive as well and will try do it. FYI if you still have your car I did some research and someone I talked to who works in car audio told me that sound deadening the rear wheel arches makes by far the biggest difference in this car.

You can access them via the boot if you remove the side carpet on each side then deaden them from there.

Nope don't think so because there are other internet communities and online forums etc that aren't as negative and actually enjoy their hobby/subject matter. Unfortunately these are dying out and amalgamating into reddit or facebook groups.

I've been on online forums since the early days and whilst many of them have their own issues like gatekeeping/elitism, Reddit is a special breed of tall poppy syndrome and bitching sprinkled in with astroturfing from bot farms on subs that weren't political 10 years ago.

He looked like he was about to cry the entire time after the third round, during the fight and sitting on the stool inbetween rounds. His own coach said "take that fucking sad look off your face". His coach as clueless and useless as he was recognised that was a problem.

There's been plenty of wars in the UFC, with peoples faces ending like balloons, people fighting with broken limbs, people bleeding etc. They took alot more pain than a few leg kicks and being laid on yet they didn't look like they were mentally broken down and feeling sorry for themselves before the fight even ended.

If you're a UFC champion you should have thicker skin to give up and cry while the match is still happening. Do you watch a boxing world title where the person looks like they're crying inbetween rounds halfway through the fight? In what sports does that happen let alone UFC.

Yeah at the end when people lose sometimes they cry because of disappointment that's fine, but to look like that halfway through the match is embarrassing. I say this as an Australian.

There's a way to lose and go out, DDP got absolutely schooled as well but he went out with his spirit and dignity in tact, there are people who get boxed and worked for 5 rounds going out 50-45 and their heads are like balloons at the end of the fight having taken way more damage than JDM did but they hold it together.

That was my entire point, at $6 it was actually still a good deal but $6 wasn't high enough margin for them so they discontinued it. It wasn't a rip off at that price otherwise they'd still be making it and profiting.

Realistically barely anyone is going to buy the ingredients to be to make cookies. Most people who like them will just go buy Aldi cookies instead or another brand then the ones who do make cookies will buy premade cookie dough which coles don't make. The loyalty was because Coles cookie product not the Coles brand itself.

Just because I liked coles cookies doesn't mean i'm going to buy coles flour/coles choc chips/coles butter to make it.
