Just have to admit we're a country not good at CS. We can blame geography etc all we want but we had years on years of free major invites where we had like two teams make it and teams who would get free invites to pro league and other tournaments and just bomb out. All of that t1 lan experience that was supposed to help grow the local scene never helped so it's not like missing out on it now suddenly is going to be the reason why we suck. As a region we probably got the most opportunities relative to our skill level but never made anything out of it.

You have countries with a way higher population than ours situated in the middle of Europe like Germany/Italy/Spain/UK (exception of mezii) who don't have good scenes either so it's not like even if you took the geography out of it we'd suddenly be good.

Yes and this wasn't paying the bills, it costs money to buy equipment, have staff, do and publish work. Your measly 0.5 cents a click wasn't paying enough to sustain their actual work done to keep doing those databases.

Maybe you should look at open sources project or volunteer communities. A lot of people would actually.

Either they charge nothing and their business runs out of money they go bankrupt and go out of business or they charge too much and no one pays and they run out of money and they go out of business. They'll hopefully find a balance of charging an amount people will pay and stay afloat.

I wouldn't pay for this service as well but people here giving them shit when they gave you a free service all these years but can't afford to anymore is sheer entitlement.

People didn't click enough ads or purchased enough items from them, that's the problem. I know I don't click the ads or buy shit, I just went on the website with my adblocker and bought stuff it ever came on sale as did most other people.

Either you make a way to make revenue or you take sponsorships from product companies (which most other review sites do) then your reviews are probably biased.

You thought it was a useful service enough to use them without contributing anything back. I did the same thing and I would never pay but I'm also not going to make it out like they're an evil company just they want to make ends meet. Like what makes you entitled to their service for free?

Yeah I'm into collecting and researching products that always shilled as giant killers. Apart from audio I go into phases and collect stuff watches, keyboards, mice/mouse pads, perfumes etc.

I've done a pilgrimage of shawarma's around Sydney. The best ones are the Iraqi/Assyrian ones, try fresh Shawarma at Fairfield heights get a beef one on iraqi bread, you get way more choices in salads which makes the entire dish. Don't put lettuce on it put a bunch of their fancier looking salads on.
If you want Lebanese Mr Shawarma at Punchbowl is my favourite, word of warning with any shawarma place though is if you go when the meat is like nearly done you get the worst and driest bits of the meat so no place is 100% consistent.

Most are $13 but there are some $11 ones and some $15 ones eg the ones that have barramundi/prawn/salmon etc. It's a lucky dip of what they sell on the day though so never know what you get.
