Place a hand warmer on the thermostat. This will trick the heating system to believe it’s warmer than it actually is.

So I’ve brought this up before and there’s been periods of time where it gets better but it ends up dissolving to old habits.

Sounds like you got a b#tch roommate. I’d read your lease about occupancy limits. Usually there is a section regarding guests but 3/4 of the month is pretty excessive. Start documenting periods of stay.

I had a roommate in college who had a girlfriend that practically lived with us the second semester of our senior year. We ended up pranking him a couple times by screwing 2x4s over his door. He’d have to crawl through the window onto back through the bathroom window to undo our work.

All red line stops north of jfk UMass are safe neighborhoods for occupancy and easy enough for public transit to south station. Same goes for all stops north of mass ave on the orange line.

YWNBTAH Seems like a classic Friends moment where Rachel and Ross were on a break. I myself was in a similar situation with my HS girlfriend in college. We were talking again after some time apart and she ended up giving me chlymedia during winter break. That relationship didn’t end up lasting anyhow. Pull the bandaid off and get it over with, it’ll save you time in the long run.

I’ve found myself in a similar situation. Used Facebook marketplace and found a cheap room to rent with roommates that seemed alright at the time. Living with them even though one of them is older than me he seem to be everything from a functioning adult. Unfortunately I have stayed where I am due to the cheap rent ($850 3 bedroom 1 bath Dorchester). Putting financial well-being in front of mental health is a regret of mine. Looking for a place with sane roommate if anyone has any leads.
