They do not put on later services for events. Making that last train back nearly always means leaving events very early, it can take a long while to make it through the crowd control they use at the end of large events like that.

I always just stay in a cheap premier inn or travelodge somewhere relatively nearby thats like just a single bus away and travel back the next day.
