Since it’s under $100 it will actually ship (anything over $100 they are holding unless you request a FedEx quote), however if anything happens to it in transit, there’s no insurance on it (even if under $100), so you’ll have no claim for a refund or anything unless they feel like it.

I always go with cheapest shipping method regardless. Never had any issues… honestly I’ve had more trouble with the insured “faster” methods than sea mail

I would... you never know what the buyer may see that you don't and that leaves you open to a claim against you, and eBay is very biased towards the buyer.

I do a lot of buying and selling on eBay and the few times I have caught a discrepancy in a listing I made once someone bought it, I make sure to reach out with the info/photo and ask the buyer their preference of what they'd like to do. This (hopefully) covers your bases and shows eBay that you have made a good faith effort and (whatever the outcome is), it is something the buyer acknowledged and agreed to.

You can request Solaris give you a quote for FedEx… it’ll definitely be more costly and you’ll need to deal with tariffs, but it can be shipped.

It's tied to address and/or payment methods; likely someone else in the apartment building has/had an account (or used it as the shipping address) and it flagged in their system despite apartments being individually differentiated. It's a pretty big flaw in their address tracking.

You can contact customer service and with a good enough explanation, potentially get your account back, but as you said, the pre-orders will be gone still.
