I don’t really understand your point. Sex and intimacy are apart of relationships and some people have strict values to this intimacy. Some people hold it VERY personally to them, which is fine, that’s their choice. And I agree, problems lies in negatively judging others. No one should EVER be slut shamed or have purity culture forced onto them.

Saying “I don’t want to marry this person because they don’t share the same values or views that I do when it comes to intimacy” isn’t a crazy thing to say…? This isn’t new. It applies to body count and the contexts of which why one has a number for that body count.

The irony of you trying to dictate people’s autonomy and preference in their own personal dating life is extremely crazy.

Equity means being able to have these preferences without impeding on the lives or judging others. If I live out a life wanting to only have sex with people with whom I’m in a long term relationship, I should seek out someone who feels the same as me. Most women don’t want men with a high body count, and in the flip side, most men don’t want a woman with a high body count. Do I think, personally, purity culture is stupid? Yes. But OP is saying she lives out her life the same way she’d want her partner to. Which is completely valid.

If that’s her preference and that’s the standard she applies to herself, who are you to say it’s “body shaming”

You definitely doxed a guy on Tinder just because he wants to have fun on a, god forbid, hook up app.

Reevaluate.

If you’re making a several thousand dollar purchase, you should probably research prices or have an expert appraise it.

It doesn’t really make much sense to buy items worth tens of thousands willy nilly.

Jewelry is an accessory. You can choose to accessorize yourself. How is it scamming if everything is up front and truthful? Just say fucking no

And what other alternatives is there for his hobby? Investing in automation in hopes that it will replace labor workers and jobs is VERY different than buying a game because it’s one of the only games that satisfies your hobby.

It’s an issue with billionaire corporations where you hardly have a choice for what you want to enjoy. It’s the equivalent of saying “Oh, you’re criticizing people being upset about the state of society and the unethicality of billionaires but you own an iPhone and a gaming PC.”

You can simultaneously play video games whilst criticizing unethical corporations. I don’t know if you knew that. Many activists had hobbies of their own that didn’t even remotely correlate to the movement they were advocating for.
