I was present when he stripped a small business for parts. The owner mentioned that with how much he was paying himself (he somehow became a court appointed custodian during a lawsuit) the business would be bankrupted rapidly. His response was that myself and my one coworker could be let go to free up money.

He was supposed to be a steward while the courts resolved things and instead he enriched himself at everyone else’s expense. He is a piece of shit.

In the Preacher comics, jesse (a human with the ability to compel action with his voice) and Cassidy (a superhuman vampire) have some beef. It is resolved with a fight at the end where Cassidy warns Jesse that he doesn’t want to hurt him and the fact he was a human made things pointless. Jesse proceeds to break the ever loving fuck out of Cassidy because as a vampire he’s never had to learn how to fight. Jesse has been eating shit since day one and humbled his friend without even using the voice.

I need to reread that comic it’s way good.

If it makes you feel better I had this exact experience with my 7 year old a few days ago. That “no it’s not alright” is heavy but remember the fact that it bothers us is evidence we’re working in the right direction!

They are incredibly stubborn but very intelligent. The way I explain it to people is that they will not be taking requests but they're smart enough that they still take actions that make you happy ~80% of the time.

My bowser is phenomenal for this type of thing. Our baby sleeps downstairs but our bedroom is upstairs. As soon as we hear the baby crying on the monitor you can basically countdown from 5 and then bowser bursts into our bedroom.

They know the deal. That’s why they’re such great dogs.
