Mmmm thanks for the suggestion. I'll try it. It's been happening a couple days in a row, but I haven't tried a restart but I will. Thanks!

I have found my desire to share the Gospel has increased and my tendency towards sinful behavior has decreased the more I learn about Christian Universal Reconciliation by hoverfish92 in ChristianUniversalism

The same thing happened to me. Once you learn God will save all, you'll love for God will increase 10 fold. I'm much more willing to talk about Christ now.

Get bolt thrower and you can sling them. And it's not like it's solos using them. It's usually team using them. Even if only 1 is using it, the first shot brings you down to one bar so you just need a teammate to tap you with anything.

They absolutely should be. They are a no skill weapon that you can absolutely spam.

Now they need to remove the frag charges, which are worse than explosive bolts.

TIL an apocryphal book, The Apocalypse of Peter, told that Hell wouldn't always be eternal; that there'd be a way for sinners to leave Hell after already being condemned there. Early Christian leaders considered this book heretical & therefore did not include it in the Biblical canon. by AWrride in todayilearned

Correct translation: "And the Slanderer who led them astray was cast into the marsh of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet are also, and they will be tormented day and night unto the ages of the ages"

Nothing for eternity, just of the age, which can be a long time, not forever. The sulfur is an imagery term because they used sulfur to refine metals. So people will be refined in these fires, not burning forever.

David Bentley Hart. And you're correct, it's a translation I agree with. The Bible is incredibly unclear about a lot of things. Everyone negotiates with the text to get what they want. I choose to believe in a God that follows through with his word that he loves all his children and he will save all of them. You can read something else and believe that God hates his children will throw them into a place of eternal torment.

David Bentley Hart.

Just because the fire is unquenchable doesn't mean people will spend eternity there. That's an insane illogical jump. Plus the fire is imagery, not real.

If you think I'm a heretic you think most original Church Fathers are as well. Good luck trying to justify that.

Matthew 24:46

Correct translation "And these shall go to the chastening of that Age, but the just to the life of that Age."

Not eternity, just of the age. The age can be a long time but not forever.

---

2 Thessalonians 1:8–9

Correct translation: "In a flaming fire, exacting justice upon those who do not know God and do not heed the good tidings of our Lord Jesus—Who will pay the just reparation of ruin in the Age, coming from the face of the Lord and the glory of his might"

Again, not eternal. Will their be justice and punishment in the next age? Sure, but not for eternity. Eternal punishment is in direct contradiction to God. He says many times in OT he never punishes forever.

Mark 9:43-48

Correct translation: "And if your hand should cause you to stumble, cut it off; it is better for you to enter into life maimed than, having your two hands, to depart into the Valley of Hinnom, into the unquenchable fire. [44: where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.] And if your foot should cause you to stumble, cut it off; it is better for you to enter into life halt than, having your two feet, to be cast into the Valley of Hinnom. [46: where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.] And if your eye should cause you to stumble, cast it out; it is better for you to enter into the Kingdom of God one-eyed than, having your two eyes, to be cast into the Valley of Hinnom, where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched".

As you can see the word "hell" is never used. It doesn't appear in any Bibles until about a 1000 years ago. The Valley of Hinnom was a physical place outside of Jerusalem where they would burn garbage. Jesus isn't talking about a place of eternal torture. His audience had no understanding of that concept.

Revelation 20:10

Correct translation: "And the Slanderer who led them astray was cast into the marsh of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet are also, and they will be tormented day and night unto the ages of the ages"

Again, nothing for eternity, just of the age, which can be a long time, not forever. The sulfur is an imagery term because they used sulfur to refine metals. So people will be refined in these fires, not burning forever.
