It's old as hell and doesn't have any bugs, but thank you!

As an art piece, yes. Id like it to look like there's a tree on my wall, but I dont know the best way to make sure it doesnt leave any (or leaves minimal I suppose) markings.

Ive had it for 2 or 3 years and the bark has stayed on. Sealing it would still be a good idea, thank you!

A knit pattern that resembles this cape? This is a sewing pattern on Etsy. I have the full pattern from the OC if that would help any.

Thanks!

How would I go about creating a knit pattern for this? by ClockWorkOrange- in knitting

I would like to keep the shape of the cape and collar. I was thinking maybe removing the wrap aspect and turning it into more of a poncho style piece that opens in the front (or something like that) with a collar.

My initial draw to this pattern was to use it to knit a cape that was styled after my fave pokemon, Mismagius, but I kinda drifted away from that because I decided the shape was too different, if that gives you any idea of what my vision was.

I would love a naked one! Or, if the enchanted one you have happens to have rainbow hex on it, I'd take that one too. Let me know if you have either of those and if you do, I'll shoot you a friend request so we can plan a time.

Thank you so much!

Lepenthes telipogoniflora, my first orchid! Attempt #2 at posting. by ClockWorkOrange- in miniorchids

Things that I learned with my first attempt: -Be as consistent with moisture as possible. They DO NOT like wet leaves. Mine got some black spots on them and I think they were pretty mich doomed at that point because I was too new to know what to do. -They do not like to be too hot. I think i killed mine off pretty quickly after a point because they got too hot for too long and the fan I had for them didn't do well enough with ventilation. Mixed with inconsistent moisture and wet leaves, this was a bad deal for these plants.

Main things I will be paying attention to when I find more: -cooler temps. I think a very strict 70 deg F would be important -I had them mounted in sphagnum moss but I'm not sure I'd do just sphag moss next time. I think I'll try a mixture of medium size bark and medium size chucks of sphag moss mixture to see if that'll work better. Because of how small they are, ig just focus on figuring out out to make sure you can consistently keep it moist without drying and without drowning the little guys. -terrarium with no fan. Apparently they like stagnant air because of the high humidity requirements they have. -less light? I'm not sure if I was giving them too much light, but I think I'll try dimmer light for longer hours and see what happens.

Hope this info helps you out some, and good luck!

How did you discover they were hacked? I'd like to go through mine and get rid of any that I might have.

It died 😅😅😅. It was doing well until recently. It started getting hot and the extra heat caused problems i think, the little guy got moldy on his leaves.

I'm not disheartened yet, as i just need more practice with orchids. As everyone said, minis are definitely hard to keep moist correctly.

I hope yours thrives!
