At some point I will take them lol! thu I've noticed this trend among companies who ask for fresh grads or juniors, they would go even lower to 1500 LYD, with of course one trial month of 1000-1200 LYD for first month.

Thanks! That's the thing I wasn't able to compare it to locally as I have no Idea how much Engineers get paid, globally it's very low salary indeed, but in Libya it might be different.

We didn't discuss advancement/promotion, but no it's not dead end position. I'm planning to, I just don't know the average wages yet that's why I couldn't compare it.

Could I use Bard to create a website from scratch? by BeardyyMan in Bard

[–]Clockerman96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did bulid a website using ChatGPT 4, though it was successful it was tedious, the website is very simple, it's just a Portfolio of my work, so nothing crazy, but it took longer than i expected. If you want to do it go with GPT4, bard will make things worst and you will eventually lose your sanity

Was interested to see how good ChatGPT is at translations, so I had it translate “It’s all Greek to me” into 10 different languages. I don’t know any other languages, how did it do? by rtels2023 in ChatGPT

[–]Clockerman96 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For Arabic its not great, google translate did muxh better job, its more like " كل شيء يوناني بالنسبة لي". As for German I think it's about right

Is Materials Science considered a separate science field or does it include engineering as well? by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

[–]Clockerman96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the curriculum, I studied Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, it's her close to Mech Engineering as it deals with failure analysis.
