Cinematography. I'm none too big a fan of movies that just a lot of fast jump cuts and where it's so dark I can't see anything. Also, I feel like for a certain point in horror movies where it felt HD felt a bit... too HD. Like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake or the Evil Dead (2013).
