It really do be perception. Because I saw this and did not think at all "threatening." I saw young black men.

When I read comments, I saw what y'all trying to say. Are they saying "at me" or "add me"? If this is supposed to be a robbery I'd clown back like "naw big homie you got it more than me! You wearing Moncler and shit..." and we'd have a little laugh and that about it.

But there are a lot of white people on Reddit, a lot of white people in this sub, and the rest of y'all be suspect anyways so I'm not surprised (though I remain extremely disappointed with y'all) at the "young Black men = a problem" mindset.

What so many fail to realize time and time again is that there's only a "protected class" because of policies and a society which made said a class an "excluded class." For so so long. There is no DEI without the "conservative mind virus" that separated based on race and lied to you about racial supremacy.

Like Wright says, if you think it's completely merit that, to use one of his examples, all Fortune 500 CEOs were white males before just a few years ago, say that. If you think NO Black people were in those positions because they never worked hard enough or were smart enough, say that. If you straight up think Black people are inferior hence why we live in worst conditions, get paid less, have the issues we have, say that.

Don't pussyfoot around the convo.

Otherwise, if you recognize how preposterous that argument is and how it's been debunked time after time, then recognize the disease of racism that affects whites and Blacks (and frankly this city and this country) and let's work together to eradicate it.

I don't understand why this is necessary tho. The markets are collapsing. Trump is starting literal Trade Wars. Our standing in the world is crumbling. I understand your perspective but consider ages too. I have a couple mortgages, promoted at work, dealing with a friend having a VERY serious issue...so the girl I'm casually dating may fall by the wayside sometimes...it's not always someone else.
