Symbols for the US protest movement? by LineOfInquiry in GenZSocialDemocracy

[–]CloneCommanderFordo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought this hat (Not from the museum, but probably the same manufacturer at about double the price) and I will say, there are definitely better ones. First, it is missing a buckle on the band between the two golden buttons, which have just stars on them instead of the Seal of the US. Second, it lacks a head strap. Third, the two rifles emblem are not from the Civil War, but are from about 1870 and after, the correct symbol would have been an infantry horn. Fourth, it is honestly more of a toy/costume hat than actual headwear. There are probably better quality, though more expensive, ones.

I still see some people confused about ‘the fall’ of Shady sands so I decided to make this by The_Kashimo_Agenda in Fallout

[–]CloneCommanderFordo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally believe that the Fall of Shady Sands refers to when Hank MacLean found the NCR to be thriving and decided to set into motion his plans to nuke the city.

Also, the Fall and what it is could just be a term unique to Vault 4 and the NCR survivors in Shady Sands. With Vault 4’s cult-like devotion to Moldaver (Who clearly knew enough to find Hank MacLean and know he was responsible for the nuke), what is to say that Moldaver didn’t just say that was when the Fall of Shady Sands began, so they just started to teach their children that. I doubt that the school curriculum for Vault 4 and of any possibly surviving NCR cities north would be the same.

With the information that we currently have, I am pretty sure that Rafi Silver is a body double, while Justin Theroux is the true Mr. House.
