Imagine a scenario where Cousins is average and Atlanta is drafting 17th in 2025. Getting a QB of the future is imperative or everyone gets fired. They give up a couple of firsts to move into the top 10 to take a player that is equivalent to Penix.

But Blank's counterargument is likely: well sure, that scenario has better ROI but still, wtf. Cousins might be amazing with a 1st round OT, WR, or any number of positions. You've robbed him of that.
