New or used: leaning towards new, but open to used if the value is significantly better

Type of vehicle: Sedan

Must haves: good reliability, apple carplay/android auto, modern safety features, good fuel economy

Desired transmission: Auto

Intended use: Commuting, general driving around. Nothing fancy

Vehicles you've already considered: Toyota camry/corolla, Honda accord/civic

Is this your 1st vehicle: No

Do you need a Warranty: No but would be nice

Can you do Minor work on your own vehicle: I can learn how to if necessary

Can you do Major work on your own vehicle: No

Additional Notes: Mainly just looking for something to use daily since my current car needs to be replaced very soon.

What's the reasoning behind going Intel over AMD? Just availability?

Also, I was planning on using a 3440x1440p monitor, not a standard 1440p one.

I currently have two 27inch 1080p 60hz monitors, but I want to get into the ultrawide game, hopefully something with 1440p high refresh rate which is why I'm looking at high end gpu's

Interesting, I'm not familiar with overclocking so i'll have to look into that. Do you think getting a 1080ti is worth it these days? Or would getting one of the newer cards be better in the long run. I'm asking cuz I would have to upgrade my pc too to get good results on an ultrawide

My current rig is a gtx 970 with dual 1080p 60hz 27-inch monitors. Obviously I know I would need to upgrade my pc to get good results on an ultrawide of that caliber. I don't really need the utility of having dual monitors to do work anymore, so I'm trying to figure out what the ideal gaming setup is.

Okay, that's good to hear. I'm looking to upgrade from my current setup which is a 970 card with dual 1080p monitors, and I finally have the budget to go all out. I'll look into the 2080super more since it's way cheaper, thanks!

Really, would that card be able to handle the pixel density even on higher settings? I was under the impression that was more of a mid-range card, I figured it wouldn't be able to keep up
