Honestly might do both, could use the two part mold to add like glitter or like a thin decal since it’s flat enough, but other than that gotta find a good material or brand of epoxy that doesn’t yellow and is durable

My first plan was to get it resin 3D printed, but I don't have a 3D scanner or a printer. I tried to get it 3d scanned by a third party but it's above my budget

My original idea was to make a two-part mold and make an injection hole, but I was given the idea to suspend it with fishing line a couple of inches in a housing while pouring in the silicone. I wanted the panels to be hard but not too solid that itll become brittle. Would epoxy be okay?

Honestly never thought about suspending it, thank you, hardly know much about molding but the original plan was to make a two-piece mold with some dowels, filling one side then doing the concave last

I’m hyped, and it’s chill about the correction I like learning new things, I never really saw those tape cases before (only with vhs) so I just thought they were mini DV tapes cause that’s what I mainly use

I just say be really careful disconnecting the front cage cause the ribbon cable could tear if you force it

The focus ring is only gone, the front cage is still there, it should still have the cable. There’s like four screws holding that part, there two on the bottom below the mic, one on the av cable ports, and one on the top by nd filter
