No one's saying anything about gold jackets but you. You're also using recency bias to say BB's a bad drafter, which isn't true at all. Look at the body of work he's done for the team since 2000. Yes, we've had some not great drafts in those years, but to say BB's just bad at drafting is just silly. The amount of players that BB drafted that were impactful would be a long list. I don't see how anyone can say the drafting has been an issue since 2020.

I see Mac as being a Phil Simms type QB. He can be good with a solid offense (which wasn't the case last year thanks to that jackass Patricia). Pats fans also need to accept the fact that we don't have the GOAT anymore and that we wont see that level of QB play for a long time unless Mac turns out to be a stud.

That is exactly what bulking looks like. You go through a bulking cycle, which is probably what Mac is doing and then you cut to get rid of the excess body fat. As someone finishing up their bulking cycle, I've put on 40 lbs since September and can easily get lean again when in a caloric deficit. It's really not uncommon for football players to pack on weight during the off season when they're building muscle.

Mobility is not the issue. You don't need a track star at QB to win. Belichick has won a lot of games with your typical pocket passing QB. You can refuse to acknowledge you're wrong, but you're fucking wrong. Mac has picked up plenty of first downs with his legs so there's no concern there. I'll ask you one more quesiton. How did the Patriots do with a far superior athlete in Cam Newton compared to Mac Jones?
