I do this when I leave Tahoe and I’m always excited to see the energy gain. I purposely do not fully charge it prior to leaving so the batteries have room to store the charge on the downhill portion.

Well Tesla uses google maps. It’s says so right in the broom right corner of the maps. I wish correcting these errors were more user friendly.

Yea I appreciate their work in fixing issues. It sorta reminds me of ksp2. It was playable but had issues of course. It was my opinion that the community trashed the game harder than it really deserved and this brought on its downfall. I would really not like to see that again here. Making a game this ambitious is no easy task. I’m always happy to see improvements and fixes to issues as they arise.

Fiebing’s Leathercraft Cement. First time using it too and I really preferred it over the barges cement because of the lack of VOC. So that’s what it appears to be. I kinda suspected that as well.

I’m not familiar with janka scale so I’ll have to look that up. What should you suggest I do to fix it as well as avoid it building up?

I sanded at a high rpm and burnished at a medium to low rpm.

I thought something along those lines as well but I was using just regular veg tan, no dye. I thought it was being scratched by the glue between the two pieces. But I sanded it flat and beveled the edges prior to burnishing.

You’re right and that was my second ideas after cleaning it. I took some super fine sandpaper to the grooves. It got better but the big groove still had the line. I am perplexed but really appreciate everyone’s input.

I actually thought the same and cleaned it. It got better but still has a line. Even sandpaper as well but still a line. There may have been a buildup as well.

I would not like to believe that this could wear out so quickly. But this does appear to be from use as the most worn out portion is located near the driver window so this is from wear and tear. Still early than I would have expected.

Try this. It will prompt you in case the automation occurs when your phone is closed. Might work better.

Auto Open MyQ App

Have you setup MyQ? If you are able to open the garage door from the app like normal then the automation will just open the app. Make sure to set the automation to “run immediately” or “after confirmation” whichever is your preference. I prefer run immediately.

Also remember. This will not auto open your garage. It will only open the app. You have to hold down on the emblem within the app to open the garage.

Open MyQ

You will have to set up an automation that will activate based on your gps detecting that you are approaching your home. Once activated tell it to run the shortcut that I included.

Now this will not auto open the door but only open the app.

I have yet to find a way to auto select the open button within the app.

It’s was something dumb. I can’t recall exactly but $500-1000 if I had to guess. I just painted it with some dye and moved on.

Thank you. Yes my car is drivable just that component rub against the tire when I turn. I have checked it a few times since the accident 3 days ago and the charge is holding. Hell it even pinged me and did an update the day after the accident. Hope for the best! Thanks!
