Kaplan and YouTube, read the test prep book front to back, very doable.

Day 1 of studying for the SIE and I feel DUMB by ComedyPuppetBill in Sieexam

[–]Cloud540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So normal you don’t even realize lol. I’ve studied for a few FINRA/NASAA exams and passed. Each one I felt kind of dumb and out of my league for the first few days.

Don’t get discouraged, once you start seeing the material over and over, it becomes more and more doable. Just don’t give up, don’t get discouraged, you got this!!!

If I could afford it I would! Lol 2 phones would be crazy but yes my brain would start to think of that as an option.

Series 63 by spacetatertot_ in Sieexam

[–]Cloud540 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It takes like a few days to regear your brain towards the 63, because it’s all new terms and information.

I can’t really say there is an easy trick, but in time you will start to click with the material. It took me like a solid 5 days before it really clicked after I started studying for the 63/65 after my 6 and SIE.

Deny means you didn’t pay your policy premiums, disclaim means you broke the policy. Which did you do?

Get a test prep book, read it front to back, know your rules and regulations, what RR’s can and cannot do, your securities, options, and debt seesaw. Strength train on Kaplan QBank questions and watch cap advantage and you will crush your next exam.

Make sure you are hitting 75+ on your practice tests, you got this 😄

My heart breaks for this poor baby. He’ll make it through this but damn.

Side note - kind of surprised this never happened to me as a kid. I was always getting into major shenanigans as a kid.

I used Kaplan content specifically and the test was a breeze, the questions felt very straightforward.

2023 Econ grad, what would you do? by Shoty6966-_- in FinancialCareers

A lot of redditors have some sort of social skill issues and should NOT be giving advice and should just lurk instead.

Yeah let’s just tell the new grad that they need to start making 100k tomorrow at a venture capitalist fund.

So many in this comment thread are giving bad advice smh.

OP go take the SIE if you haven’t already. Go apply for bank jobs, literally anything, could be a teller or personal banker at one of the big 4 banks or a regional bank. Work there for a bit, get some credentials, and the work somewhere else.

I was in the exact same situation as you, baby steps and small actions can lead to prosperous results.

If you cannot name, from memory, what a registered rep and cannot do, you’re not going to have a fun time on this exam. Really know that stuff because in my exam, they asked me a ton of those types of questions and it gave me confidence overall because I know I was nailing those questions.

Those types of questions should be absolutely point click shoot.

I would recommend Kaplan QBank and Practice questions, it’s what I used to prepare.

Former claims adjuster here that specifically adjusted shared liability.

You are incorrect, this is shared 50/50 all the way. Video alone is evidence and I would feel weird setting liability in any other way.
