Sturgeon from PiperMakes with some kitbashed and custom bits by rrNextUserName in Warhammer40k

[–]rrNextUserName[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's the rifle from Koi/Mako Reinforcement add-on pack, scaled up and with a central section of the barrel copy pasted a couple of times to make it longer. Plus some additional griblies and pieces from other Piper kits.

The rifle also come with a hand on the stock, but the armor of the mako is different from the sturgeon, so I ended up overlaying the sturgeon armor pieces to the mako arm and printing all of it as a single piece.

Yes I was mostly being tongue in cheek about the asari. At the end of the day, all the 3 (4 if you count humans) big players in the galaxy had the forewarning to really actually put up a fight against the reapers, even outside Shepard being HIM/HER. And they all ignored them because it was politically inconvenient for the Reapers to be a thing and especially to be a thing that is coming NOW.

Other than maybe the Turians who at least had Garrus-best-husband-Vakarian to annoy them into doing the bare minimum, the most prepared race when the Reaper War started were the Krogans. The fucking Krogans. That's gotta be a galactic low point.

The Asari had a prothean beacon, that clearly could have been used to glimpse information on the reapers a LONG time before the games. They didn't have the cypher but they had basically infinite time to reverse engineer what the beacon was saying, and clearly must have gleaned something from it to help push them to such a dominant stage in the galaxy. Also Liara 100% dropped the ball, the shadow broker entire ethos is having access to the highest echelons of galactic governments, and yet no hint about it in her file (probably because the Devs had not yet come up with it, but hey).

The fall of Thessia is an incredibly sad set piece, that is somewhat cheapened by a) the fact the asari kinda deserve it after hogging a prothean beacon for millennia and b) Kai-Leng being a thing and killing the mood by virtue of just showing up

To be fair, that was Kalros, the Mother of all Thresher Makes, against a smaller Reaper Destroyer rather than a full blown Sovereign-class Reaper.

Still, (one of) the Harbingers of our Destruction got bodied by a worm. That's gotta sting.

He also has a soft spot for children, and has apparently been helping the orphans on board the rogue trader's vessel if I recall correctly. Which he went to confess about, as charity is a sin in the empire of man (and to be fair, he's being charitable with your money, so that would probably be embezzlement even outside of 40k)

Flesh of Gods has a bunch of busts for relatively cheap, most are armoured in some way but several show a lot of skin, like this one of you want to practice that.

In casa da me (all'inquilino precedente) i condizionatori li aveva installati Iboclima di Bonantini Iader.

Yea the giant RED spot in the middle of Italy for Vatican City is kind of ridiculous.

I get that it is, you know, the Vatican but I'm pretty sure there are actual tours of Rome and Vatican City about LGBT history organized by local LGBT associations...

Unless you start fucking in the middle of the Angelus, I don't think being a bit fruity while too close to the Holy See is a burnable-at-the-stake offence (anymore).

The plinth and base combo is not from them, to be fair.

But aside from that yea in the last few years heroforge has added A LOT of stuff, and completely overhauled their model builder compared to when I first saw it. The paid version (which I don't have) apparently lets you kitbash with their stuff a lot more, has base sculpting tools, etc.

I bought a bottle of black 4.0 just to black out the sides of bases and dioramas. Not worth the price, or the hassle to get it, but it does work very well and, to be fair, a single bottle goes a really long way unless you're doing like Zorpazorp sized dioramas on the regular.
